Yes this bird could do a overhaul and bring it up to standards.

What also worries me is some of the assest in the game are so old… they look completely outdated which is a big no no. Why not bring all these models up to date first over the whole sim. Even the FC3 planes and the SU25(T) are so out of shape (;)) you would think let’s go and put some effort in that. Same goes for weapons and missiles. Put a whole team on that and at least you get an even playfield again looking at model quality et cetera. Im not even gonna talk about ATC, bugs, Vulkan, dynamic campaign and all other sorts of quality of life stuff. DCS is at a point where it looks like ED wants to pump out as many as new thingies as possible but the craplist grows and grows and is dragging everything down. I think it’s called technical debt but I’m no programmer… Come on ED I have pumped enough money into your business for years and years where we can say time for a big clean up

@Eagle Dynamics BUMP! come on ED this is a feature like adding things in the AH64 that could easily be part of the standard rearming window ingame. Kinda disappointing i have to use a mod for this....

I ordered it, but to be honest this is the first time i was actually thinking to not preorder (almost have everything). Like many said already, you (ED) really need to start stepping up the game harder. Start finishing stuff, solve long waiting issues and make the sim at whole more stable. Next time i might be another customer that says no.

I for one would love to see the V being brought to us one day. I enjoy playing the P but i doesn't feel like the nostalgic HIND i loved to watch at airshows and in documentaries. And besides it was the most widely produced version. Since a lot has already been developed it doesn't seem like you have to make a completely new product...

@-Rudel- Are you guys planning on reworking the MiG-21Bis or not? Its a simple question and maybe a less simple answer to give but at least we know whats going on...

The newsletter is not what some people wanna see in it and that’s news about progress. I am one of those people. But I don’t mind these either. In an ideal world I could read about status of Vulkan api, New ATC, MiG-29, Razbam E.D. drama and other future things or cool stuff… It is what it is

No.... its up to ED i guess. F10 has been drama for a long time now and these crashes made it even worse.

@Rufuz64 Did you enable quadviews and eyetracking in DCS VR options? They are new

2 flights and both times DCS crashed pressing F10 Map.... Sigh F10 map was stuttering before this patch but now its worse it just crashes the whole sim...

@miguelaco You might wanna install Nvidia drivers 552.44 Those were the last drivers from Nvidia that were actually good, all other i got lots of stuttering et cetera.. (4090 here)

Same here, got home today deleted all the extra software packages OPENXR toolkit, Quadviews, Quadview companion and all the previous pimax play software. Installed the newest version of pimaxplay and voila everything works great from pimaxplay settings! FPS and performance are better for me then before. @jaapgrolleman I have a request for making pimaxplay even better. Would it be possible for you guys to implement settings in the form of sliders to increase resolution to our own likings instead of three options?

I’m really curious what settings will give the best results. 1: Pimaxplay OpenXR default on Foveated default on (OpenXR, Quadviews and Quadviews companion apps uninstalled) 2: Pimaxplay OpenXR default on Foveated default OFF (OpenXR app uninstalled) Mbucchia Quadviews and Quadviews companion app both ON Anyone been testing these different way to run DCS VR? I won’t be home all weekend so can’t really test myself.

@BIGNEWY What do you mean all other OpenXR layers? Do you mean quadviews?

I have a question about the way OpenXR is being utilized. Right now I have Pimaxplay open, OpenXR and Quadviews to run DCS with my Pimax Crystal. The newest pimaxplay seems to come with OpenXR default in it. Does this mean I don’t have to run the seperate OpenXR anymore? Or should I turn it off in pimaxplay and run the seperate OpenXR? (haven’t installed the latest pimaxplay yet so don’t even know if I can disable OpenXR in there)

I am a bit burnt out by this lagging/hick-up/fps dropping that's present lately. A few builds ago the sim run ALOT better, this is just annoying to say the least. Like others said before there's no consistency in when you get one oft hose freezes and for how many seconds and the amount of followups. MAP F10 sure doesnt help but its the state of stability in general that is just ughhhh right now

Yeah lets add another fighter in the collection.... like we dont have enough of them (F18, F16, F14, F4, F5, Mirage 2000 / F1, Harrier, F15E, F15 et cetera) How many dedicated groundpounders we have? A10A/C ... I would like the Eurofighter as well but some difference in type would be nice.

Same... but it seems they arent allowed to talk about it.. what can you do.
