Sure I want your opinion I have owned many headsets in the past but have the chance to buy a rift s very cheap and would like to give it another go I run a 3080.

I used to have a rift s interested in people opinions in 2024 ?

This is one reason ED do not go over board on there models not because they cannot but playability is far more important, on top of that add VR in to the mix and the flight model goes out the window for obvious reasons.

This is the way to go for me also when I owned the QP but as you say the pico 4 loved VD.

I used always watch the grim reapers his tutorials got me off the ground with out the anal stuff that can come later in other videos but unfortunately he seems not to do as much like he did. Good old cap I may bump in to him one day as think he goes to Lakenheath now and again. The hip is quick short and keeps me up to date but seems a little to professional for my taste like a payed advert but useful. Also like I have said many times he is responsible for people coming into DCS but as time goes on the same people become expert's over night and diss the grim reapers.

The binocular over lap on the quest pro was terrible for me so when using the edge to edge clarity broke the emersion pico 4 was not as bad. The usb cable just not doing it for me in either of the headsets it seems to be the norm now which does not equal as good or better when you notice it.
