The good first: The QP has very nice picture quality and the QVFR is awesome big performance lift and I could not see any narrower focus it just works. Even thou the resolution is lower the picture quality makes up for it. The Not so good for me. At fist I thought the blacks was very good until some pointed out the brown halo effect around the edges lol and once you see it never forgotten, Even thou the resolution of the QP is not a problem compared to the pico sharpness its kind a crap lol. The lenses have edge to edge clarity true but when used looking at cockpit interments etc the binocular over lap is dreadful for ME. I would never go back to a QP just because of the overlap but if you find a bargain go for it one of the best underrated headset for DCS but not for ME. I was and still very tempted to give one of them a try.

This made me cry, Don was the VR man.

I have just finished dialling in my pico what can I say very impressed the best part you can pause DCS have tweak and go back to DCS un pause until your happy. Coming from a QP & other headsets I am happy and the cost makes you feel all warm inside as bonus lol.

You come in with a Big sweeping statement & when some one questions why you think the Qpro is not a good head set you go on the defensive. Is it as good as a quest 3 I would not know as I have not owned one, but 26 pages regarding the QP can not be ignored so yes I would say the QP is a good headset I owned one myself it was a great for DCS.

I used my 2017 account I did not go through the pain you are experiencing lol good luck. But the old developer mode back then is different from now and had to go through the new process.

Then you just need to enable development mode sorry I can not remember nothing special needed, I had an old development account but no use really.

You have to pair the headset first with your mobile then look for the headset.

If I remember correctly the option is kind of tricky to find I used my m8s tablet or are you saying the option is ghosted out.

I have just bought a pico 4 lol and sold the QP. I have not had time to tweak the pico to my liking but at the moment it comes across as a budget version of the QP time will tell. My favourite headset of all time for me is the G1 I have owned 3 but the last one I sent back as faulty but for sure if the pico does not work out for me I will buying another G1..

I know some one with a quest3 he uses it for other stuff but uses a G2 for DCS I have owned a G2 and a Quest Pro the Pro for me out shines a G2 with ease. So make out of that what you will.

I remember falcon on the amiga a friend of mine said one day we will feel the speed of flying and here we are in VR awesome. On a side note if your copied the game on the amiga when sitting on the runway after a few seconds 3 or 4 bullet holes would appear on the Hud LOL ........ so i was told

Which map are you on ? the videos you see on line are using the mission editor so look great the default look of DCS is bland for learning if you was to add some weather your the case1 would put you in a load of pain because of difficulty windy choppy seas but look good.

You can change the look feel of dcs if you learn to use the mission editor time of day weather e.t.c and will look completely different. As for the ship models & so on DCS is more intended to being realistic which comes before pretty looking GFX not an arcade game such as War thunder. also some maps look nicer than others.

So what makes you think this will blow anything out of the water apart from it looking pretty ?

Interesting thread I would imagine it was rather frustrating for the instructors teaching new pilots as the students would be constantly asking what's that button do what's that one do as I cannot read it

I didn't bother I just bought the module the 101 great little plane.

I have just bagged a pico 4 thought I would give one whirl .

Do I need an app on a phone ? for trials.
