mm think we are talking about 2 different things here.

If you reset the headset the update should be the newest the same when you first installed the headset.

I had this after the update last night no headset orange light when sitting on the dock but controller ok the headset would charge directly from another usb port. But to solve the problem I removed the charger plug from the wall socket "not just the cable lead from the dock " and done job all good. You have to replug in the charger of course lol

I have an old oculus developers account from 2017 will be giving a bang later this week I say developers account back then I think I just needed to enable it cannot remember.

There more interested in the quest 3 and <profanity>esaber customers.

Oculus people are more than capable of this but decided or possibly told not to.

Agree, the G2 is no match in comparison for me personally this is the first headset I can hit f3 flyby in external view and looks as smooth as a monitor using the same setting I had in the G2 I bought the full gasket but prefer the default ones which comes with the headset due to the above. I also use the recommended powered USB card in 2017 which I used with the CV1 and have had zero problems or see any artifacts people bang on about.

I don't mind the sound except for big explosion's which could do with little more boom. I like placing friends in VR standing on the ground during a replay and see them jump when the **** hits the fan lol.

My headset turned up today nothing to say as it's all been said before except: From a G2 it's like some one come in my house over night and upgraded my PC for free and while they were there performed an operation to remove tunnel vision I didn't realize I had. So pleased.
