Regarding the 3080: Yep not prepared to go down on vram will wait for a ti if it apears.

I am currently running a 1080ti and not comfortable going from 11 to 10 gb of Gpu ram. So I will wait a little.

It has been like that for years on and off I always restart a game for new mission or plane swap due to the same reason just restart.

Of course you are correct what I should of said if your @ 100 gpu usage check your temps but as there good my comment was irrelevant.

Why have they changed the lenses at the last minute when it was so good ? Perhaps I am just talking out of my **** lol but does make you wonder why the change. I admit I know nothing on how a VR heads sets are made.

MRTV said so on one of his live streams. Personally I think more power give good vibrant colours, lens with less power maybe not so or that could be me Just me being a pessimist.

There was a heat problem with the pre production headsets and at the time I said to a friend of mine something has to go & I bet a bottom dollar they will change the lenses and low and behold they have from a great lenses to even better lenses mm :D

DCS has had problems many times over the years with launching in border less. Use Alt-enter before flight and your good to go not personally had this problem for some time If your not sure if in full screen just display your frame count with in game and you will know for sure.

Ryan Handy also added the part I missed out on my previous post below. "With G1, we announced a ship date and we missed it as bugs crept in and we got eaten alive... then there were the issue that were found AFTER we changed the date and launched. We're playing it safer this time around and we are on-track internally" Personally I am in no hurry I can wait.

Yep I guess DCS is not for every one it requires a little effort.

I used to run at 1.4 with the rifts I would not use PD of 1 big difference for me.

Are you running PD in game at 1.2 or tray tool.

Increasing PD in VR is a huge difference just from 1 to 1.4
