This DCS World 2.9.1.48335 (I am running it with Multi Thread) update was amazing with graphics quality improvement and maintain or slightly improve FPS (especially the Nvidia DLAA), Greatly reduced the GPU temperature (previous stable release version 2.8.7.42718 with GPU operating temperature at 88oC and now with this latest stable release version, the GPU run in 70-78oC which was a lot cooler.) and I noticed the Gameplay video recording had greatly reduce the video file size as well. The new F4 view camera control mode was very good but I think I still need the old F4 view camera mouse camera control. Just a question for this DLAA/DLSS implementation, Nvidia said DLAA/DLSS will only work with Ray Tracing. The DCS World currently run in DirectX 12 or the new Vulcan API with Ray Tracing? For me, I don't use DLSS and I only use DLAA. Nvidia only upgrade the DLSS, DLSS 2 for all RTX GPU, DLSS 3 for 40 series RTX GPU, and they said the latest Ray Reconstruction will work on all the RTX GPU but stated at DLSS 3.5? Is this DCS World got the Ray Reconstruction?

DCS World version 2.9.1.48335 (Multi Thread latest stable release version), I played at maximum graphics quality with Nvidia DLAA at non-VR 1080HD resolution demonstration. This video show gameplay without any stuttering or any frame freeze but it just tested in quick mission. You can see the graphics setting was set at maximum quality but in 1080HD resolution.

Gameplay video with the mod, the wingman ai will be a bit smarter and will execute attack target. But only wingman1 will be the most working ai at the beginning while the other 2 wingman (wingman2 and wingman3) still work like a dummies. Wingman1 will attack target by launching ATGM within player (flight leader) position, but wingman2 and wingman3 will fly closer to target that cannot see or locate the target. After wingman1 run out of ATGM, wingman2 and wingman3 will turn-up to be working ai to attack target within player (flight leader) position. Some kind of weird ai behavior, the ai also not obey to flight leader order to execute attack target after some time. Got problem for hold position order and RTB order to the wingman that will lead them to crash. here the gameplay video:

I had updated the old 2011 's Black Shark 2 "TAIPAN_" ai Wingman Survival Mod (https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/131355/) to be used with current latest DCS World 2.8.7.42718, compatible for all Unit and all Language. download link was up now at: ai improvement Mod for DCS World 2.8.7.42718 (digitalcombatsimulator.com) The wingman ai will be a bit smarter and will execute attack target. Thanks for watching, that precision INU alignment is insane and need to wait for 20 minutes to complete. I don't go for fast forward time and I am recording the gameplay as is authentic real life. If you don't want to wait, you can skip the video to combat action zone.

I think the problem is the stupidity of the current Computer hardware processor that operated the dummies ai. I suggest to develop a plugin for ChatGPT ai to operate the DCS World 's ai or make use of the Nvidia 's Tensor core ai and AMD 's RDNA 3 hardware ai.

I did some research and found a mod made for very old Black Shark 2 year 2011 version, AI Wingman Survival Mod (digitalcombatsimulator.com) I located the ai related files at "DCS World\Scripts\AI" folder. It look like the game 's ai cannot be fix, the ai scripting was just simple instruction that instructed the computer 's CPU to do automated ai action and reaction. The ai don't have specific program code for individual vehicle, it look like all the ai vehicle run the same ai instruction scripts. I compared the two files named Detection.lua and Skill_Factors.lua between the old mod BS2 year 2011 version and current latest DCS World 2.8.7.42718 version

But the US Apache ai was very smart, they can fire all the hellfire within distant and destroy target easily. now I figured out how to make use of these dummies ACE wingman, just set trail and open formation. Let them stay behind, so what you can see and they can see too. here the gameplay video how I used the wingman, just ordered them to attack easy target, an exposed target.

I played Ka-50 III with all 3 wingman in ACE skill, wingman a dummies ai that cannot launch vikhr within the weapon range, they just fly closer to the target and got hit by heavy machine gun and eject. here the gameplay video record:

Sorry, the rotor brake is working, actually it need to wait for the rotor speed to slow down to much lower speed after engine shut off before apply the rotor brake to stop it. If rotor brake applied while the rotor speed was still very fast, it just worn out the rotor brake and cause it to not working.

Question between Black Shark 2 and newer Black Shark 3?

Let's convert all the campaign, quick mission, single mission and multiplayer mission from the old BS2 to the new BS3. And remove the old BS2 for the BS3 owner, just retain the old BS2 3D ai object where it still need in multiplayer. -
Then the Apache just pinpoint the target with laser/FLIR and load the INS data to AGM-114L, the AGM-114L guided to the target using the INS data and home it with radar while near the target?

The Ka-50 III 's 9S846 Strelets launcher was still filled after Igla missile was launched off? is that thing same as the APU-6 “Vikhr” (AT-9) Launcher closed with cover after launched?

What is the actual range of R-77 air to air missile? In DCS World encyclopedia it said to be at 50KM, while in Russian Wikipedia said at 100KM, English Wikipedia said at 80KM and Chinese Wikipedia said at 50KM ? Which one is the real specification? why is that missile was crappy in DCS World and only effective at very close range.

Current latest version 2.8.7.42718 still got problem for the F/A-18C 's engine and afterburner sound. The sound cannot be replace by mod, the sound remain with stock DCS F/A-18C sound with cracking and distortion after the sound mod was activated.

Got problem for the both Ka-50 and Ka-50 III 's APU-6 “Vikhr” (AT-9) Launcher, after the 9А4172 Vikhr (AT-9) Missile was launched off from the launcher, both Ka-50 and Ka-50 III 's APU-6 “Vikhr” (AT-9) Launcher was remained with filled 9А4172 Vikhr (AT-9) Missile. I had tested the S-80M rockets, the rocket pod show empty slots after the rocket was launched off.
