  1. The simplest way to move the "pilot" in the cockpit is to use the "cockpit camera" settings bound to the hat switch on the joy stick. Forward, back and left and right are all available.
  2. Although I am not using the expensive link cable, my cable checks out at 2.9gbs. I am running Win 10, Intel Core i7@3.2 Ghz 32 Gb RAM NVidia Gforce 1070Ti.
  3. I have been using the Rift S headset for about a year and I have found it to be very good. I have just bought the Quest 2, mainly for the much enhanced graphics claimed in the write-ups. Although the Quest 2 works very well with X-Plane 11, it is impossible to use with DCS despite having the latest drivers etc. When the game gets to the "Fly" stage, there is so much flickering, jittering and freezing of the display that it is impossible to use the game. Has anyone out there got any suggestions. I am awaiting a response from Oculus.
  4. I have downloaded the F18C templates from the DCS website. Now the stupid question. Where on earth do I put them??
  5. Hi BIGNEWY, Many thanks for the help. I followed all the guidance and installed the latest C++. Now everything works as advertised
  6. I am struggling with the DCS 2.5Beta. After about 5 minutes, the game freezes and stops responding. I have attached the zipped log file. I hope that someone can help. I did notice that the game calls for Direct X 11 and I am running DirectX 12. It shouldn't make any difference, I think. dcs.zip
