  1. It is very odd. I guess I'll just stick with the keyboard for the time being. If I figure something out I'll be sure to post.
  2. Hmm, I don't seem to be able to achieve what I wanted. For example, the game had pre-mapped the D-PAD to look around the cockpit, which I want to be on the right stick, but there's only the option of buttons, no axis controls in that part. I went in axis commands and it isn't there. :/
  3. I'll give it a go, thanks for the quick reply!
  4. Is it theoretically possible to be able to use the Xbox 360 Controller for: Movement of the plane (left stick) Movement of the pilots head/view (right stick) Guns (left/right trigger) Thrust (possibly L/R bumpers?) And then use the keyboard for everything else? I'm not sure on whether it's possible to have 2 inputs or what. Any wisdom here? :)
  5. EDIT: Thanks for the Aerodrome thing, it really helps. Is there some way I can close this?
  6. Ah, then I've not been listening properly. It's probably just that the airports I selected don't happen to have ILS. I'll try it with Batumi now because I know that has ILS. I'll see if the same thing happens.
  7. Nah. The thing is, what you said would probably be the problem but: I carried on the landing to the airport which had displayed ILS: ****** And I still got the MARKER BEACON signal on the front dash when I went towards the runway. It showed up twice (once for the far ILS marker and once for the close ILS marker), indicating that the airport did actually have ILS, but for some reason the frequency isn't showing up. It's not just one airport, I've tried it with 2 or 3 now after cold startups and they're all showing the same thing.
  8. Hello Everybody. I have been learning to land, and all was well until I started doing my pre-landing checks. I have done a couple of successful landings after having spawned into the mission airborne, and on the airport page I get the ILS frequency just fine like this: RWY: 9 ILS: 131.90 (or whatever) However, when I try the same thing after having spawned in to do a cold start-up rather than spawning in airborne, whenever I get onto the airport page on the CDU, it says: RWY: 9 ILS: ******* With asterisks instead of the ILS frequency. Am I forgetting to do something on startup? Here's my startup checklist:
