    but you allready have "the other sim" for that.. what differentiates DCS is the better specific FM for each plane, engine management complexity and clickable cockpit.  a MAC WWII would have nothing over more in depth developed titles...

    Hi Enigma, the question Is not addressed to me , but let me state my oppinion: The problem there is that the person flying a n FC3 plane is "playing" by other set of rules, easy procedures, "magic" radars, etc...

    Now the problem in a CW scenario diminishes since there are less radars and RWRs systems and complex missiles. 

    If I may, you might be confusing interest for the CW era with interest with better and/or more  "easy gameplay".

    I love analog early tech era, mainly 60s to 80s. but I also need and love as real as it gets, not simplified mass of planes with a little variation in some table. for that we do have War Thunder or even IL-2 General survey sims, with lots of content. 

    DCS is a Study sim, it might not be coherent it might have huge gaps, but each module is done as best as it can be done in a consumer PC. That is what we buy when we buy a DCS module. For light sims, you have War Thunder, and you will have MAC.

    Don´t take away our GRAIL, to transform it into what you want.. specially when you DO have options, and we DON´T have any other "as real as it gets", Full Fidelity Sim on consumer platforms out there.

    Microprose did go bankrupt when they developed Falcon 4.0 (full fid. + lots of content + dynamic campaign: 1 plane.

    DCS might not be anywhere near perfect but its what we have for now regarding Full Fidelity. THAT is the essence of DCS. it has been since Black Shark.

    And you are saying its essence its its main predicament. or problem... Sorry, can´t agree. I Enjoy your servers because it is as real as it gets with what we have. Change that to an all FC3 server and you will lose me at least as a pilot.

    I don´t play to kill planes, Y play to feel like a pilot, not to feel like a GAMER playing with planes. 

    Yes i use a GAME, but that game is my tool to feel like a pilot for a little while.

    Hey Guys I have been posted to Damascus from Agust 1st. I am wondering how are things down there with the conflict raging still and all... I am wondering If I might get good enough internet connection to fly on line or to at least get the updates...

     

    of course any other pointers are more than welcome. All my info is from before the war and it was an awesome city full of life and activities.

    Wellm, in my case I am upset because the last Treat for me was the F-14 tomcat and I am still awaiting the early one. Then they told me about an A6, then they brough forward the EF 2000 witch I do not plan to buy nor fly at all, then the Phantom stepped in, in front of my Intruder but they said, hey don´t despair we´ll get the Phatom out on 2022 and we will continue with the Intruder... and then they said the Phantom would NOT be a naval one! imagen my outrage!!!! And when I am finally coming to terms with flying a land locked Phantom II its again delayed along with the Intruder and the early Cat... 

    You see I am a 70´s Guy. I like my analog birds, and so far the only one that has given me a treat is Aerges and its beautiful Mirgae F1. Heatblur on the other hand still stands on promises... 😉

    I do apologize for that, and I mean no offense.  I write it out of the frustration of reading comments like "I haven't heard about this in a few months, it must be cancelled" in subforum after subforum.  No.  It isn't.  These projects take years.  The F-15E was announced first back in 2012 with the first images released in 2014.  It should be released shortly, but that's a decade.  The Tomcat took what was it, 3.5 years to go from announcement to EA?  How many other projects got announced, impatience causes people to claim "it's dead!" and then three months later there is a new update, and the hype train comes back, excitement, then right back to "haven't heard, is it cancelled?" with annoying consistency.  Add to this the fact that HB is continuing to develop the flight model, weapons, avionics, etc., etc., etc., and now they are trying to emulate analog RWR tones and displays that they have openly stated both the early F-14A (and Iranian F-14A) and F-4 are reliant upon to simulate accurately.  God knows what sources they've had to scrounge up to do it right.  Also, HB have stated the IRIAF F-14 is going to be an approximation, so I'd recommend managing expectations.  Keep patient, eventually, you'll have your remaining two (not one) F-14s.

    No need to apologize, I found the "sarcasm" funny and accurate 😉. This said the F-14 Module has been out for several years now. I have been asking about the early A for a long, long time (I got my Cat on day 1). And I was told that one of the supposedly 2 cats left was scratched (the very early one). Its been a while and whailñe I did hear that the RWR was a "thing" and that delayed the delivery of the last Cat. (quiet frankly I had forgotten). Then teh PhantomII gets delayed, yada, yada, yada.. Sorry I got Anxious again. 

    Having gotten that off my chest I will patiently wait another 6 months before complaining again 😉 Hopefully I´ll be too busy with the F-4E...

     

    By the way, Expectations are not over the top, I want some AIM 9B, J, juli and 7Es maybe to simulate late 70s... Thats all. (All how won´t complain on some extravagant Iranian missiles either).

    Are we actually getting one more cat? i had lost Hope already.. Even of getting early AIM missiles and a removable TCS...

    I believe HB still owes me a credible Persian Cat, but there is nothing I can do about it, so. meh.

    Well a GIUK Gap map has also been requested and we do have plenty of cold war assets coming to play AND it would go nicely with the Kola Peninsula map too.

    Still Vietnam, Korea or Balkans would be very much awaited theater too.

    Yes, ok, let me rephrase the question: is it being considered if there will there be a discount to those who have the E or not?

    I know its a different full module. But being as different as they are, Its stil a different variant of the same air frame, and I have friends that have no interest in a non carrier bird, but then again waiting for the naval version will take a few more years despite whatever Devs say ( They said release 2022), I believe the naval Phantom will be around on 2025 with some luck, so I´m trying to convince my friends to get the E in the mean time... 

    Then by 2025 we will hopefully have an A-7 and maybe close to an F-8 release, as naval planes to compete with...

    The VSN MOD now shows Bridles at launch on any carrier, so It can be done without the need of changing the carrier.  Its not perfect but its better than nothing.

    I would Love an Intrepid or Enterprise tho.

    I would even buy them as a separate module if needs be. 

     

    P.S. any news if there would be a discount for those who own the E or if it will be a completely separate module?

    hey Guys

    First of all: This is a must have, amazing Script!!!

    Now, did anyone add a function so that the damage or destroyed objects are credited to a player when logging the kills?. meaning on version 1 teh splash damage was not assign to any player, it "just happens",  does 2.0.2 assign the kill to a player? if not is that posible? to log who dorp teh bombo or projectile that made teh kill with the splash?

    ... but I'd purchase any official Module of this aircrafts right away ... currently enjoying the Mirage F1, which Aerges crafted superbly 🙏

    Yeah I know the Mods but so far they are UFOs, not as developed as the F 104 or the A4.. (the Phantom is still a UFO too) I know all VSN mods...
