  1. I won't be at Legends as will be in Spain that weekend. I'll probably be up at Dux on the Friday before it though. Pete and the team will be there for the weekend though, including our coding team from France and Germany. May show was really good thanks and I heard the rain brought the crowd in for some more sim flying. No idea if ED will be there this year with the full sit-in cockpits or not.
  2. VEAO are pleased to announce that we will be attending the three upcoming air shows at IWM Duxford, UK this year. The team will have the latest VR kit to showcase existing and upcoming aircraft from VEAO, ED and other 3rd party developers. As usual we will be in TFC's hangar 2 for the three shows. The details of the three shows are below and we look forward to seeing you at IWM Duxford if you can attend. Duxford Air Festival Sat 27 May 2017 – Sun 28 May 2017 http://www.iwm.org.uk/events/iwm-duxford/airshows/duxford-air-festival Flying Legends Air Show 2017 Sat 8 July 2017 – Sun 9 July 2017 https://www.flyinglegends.com/ Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show Sat 23 September 2017 – Sun 24 September 2017 http://www.iwm.org.uk/events/iwm-duxford/airshows/2017/duxford-battle-of-britain-air-show
  3. Give away now closed. Many thanks to all that spread the word to like our page. I now have the list, will be picking 5 people at random and will contact them by messenger tomorrow morning. Among some of the prizes are our prestigious new logo on mouse mats, notepads and mugs, which I think looks awesome, especially sipping my Starbucks coffee in the morning. We will be running future give away's which will include some more of these branded prizes plus special prizes from our friends across DCS development and hardware manufacturers so keep an eye out on our page for details. Chris and the team
  4. Awesome, good luck with that, look forward to seeing you guys at VFAT this year then.
  5. 10 dolla..... Yeah I saw you hadn't been on Teamspeak for a long time, what happened? Making pointless points is what I'm all about lol The thing is, that when Pete or I get screens or renders it's normally via FB chat (which all our team uses) or via email and its so easy to post stuff on FB when on the mobile compared to posting in these here forums. We do try to post a duplicate here as well but sometimes they get missed. We will do a similar competition in here in the future so you won't miss a chance :)
  6. Hey Guys, Yesterday we hit over 4000 likes on our Facebook page and 6 shy of 4000 followers. To appreciate you guys "subscribing" to our page we're holding a give-away. Tomorrow morning (Tuesday March 28, UK time) I will randomly pick 5 winners from people that like our page to receive a gift related to DCS. This could be as simple as a key for a chosen module up to a Thrustmaster Warthog joystick and some other interesting prizes related to VEAO. You still have time to enter or get your friends to enter by simply liking and follow our page: https://www.facebook.com/veaosimulations/ Many thanks for your continued support, Chris and the team.
  7. Looking excellent, can't wait to fly this one!! Always been a wish of mine to fly a Harrier in DCS :)
  8. You've said Mig-21, do you mean that or the Hawk (this forum section)?
  9. Well done Pete, always great to see DCS being shown to the public at events :) Cibit, we've got through 3 joysticks now using them at Duxford, kids don't understand pull this gently lol
  10. It's great for everybody in my books. No beef on our side. We want to make sure that the highest quality module's are built for DCS also, as do all 3rd party developers. And to be clear, I respect Yo-Yo's experience and views very much. We had a good chat at Legends last weekend. In terms of pilot testing, any pilot will tell you that the "books" will only get you so far on a flight model, it's the nuances of the aircraft that make it unique so to get it real you need that feedback. And everyone wants realism right.... Stick a pilot in a moving flight chair with a VR headset on and you can increase the feedback ten-fold. Back on topic: We look forward to receiving the updated DM model from ED to hook into. Chris
  11. We can only do what the platform given to us allows us to do. But then again only the real life pilots that fly the P-40F, Spit XIV and Bearcat will tell us if it flies like the real thing or not. Challenge accepted.
  12. Welcome to the mad house. Don't listen to a word anyone says around here, it's all lies...2 weeks....
  13. Many congrats on your release milestone guys :D From all of us at VEAO
  14. Well done guys, a lovely tribute :)
  15. To set the record straight, we did not drop it because it was more than we could handle, we dropped it for reasons caused by MysteryFx that I will not go into in public!! We wish the team well in their development. Chris.
  16. Hi Dart, Any settings I need to change to record DCS 2 tracks as well as 1.5? So recording from both versions. Thanks, Chris.
  17. Check out this: https://www.lotatc.com/
  18. Excellent update as always. Happy New Year guys!!

    Mirage Congrats

Hey Zeus and the Razbam team, I've been flying the Mirage with Pman this morning checking out the competition :music_whistling: Whilst there are obvious things that are still work-in-progress we would like to congratulate you on an excellent module and we thoroughly enjoyed flying it today. This community is very critical of any DCS module, and as a customer also, I would be and some do not understand the process or what's involved in developing for DCS. Given the timescales you have pulled this off in, based on your FSX product development knowledge, I salute you, an outstanding job!! We look forward to seeing the product and team progress within DCS. Chris, Pete and the VEAO team.
  20. Great interview and have been using Tacview for years now, excellent tool for flight analysis.
  21. Hmm that combo is working fine for me on both laptop and desktop. Engine Start/Relight is what you're looking for.
