I just tried it on every map but Normandy, and I didn't see anything wrong with the gear animation. I circled the field and cycled them up and down without an issue. Is it possible that you could post your track file of a flight with it happening?

You should be able to use a free trial and test them both out. I'm partial to the L-39 due to having spent some much time photographing them, I also have 2 photo flights in that type. From the backseat the DCS version feels spot on. C-101 is also a great plane to fly around, but to me the weapons system of the L-39ZA to kind of clunky, and it is something that I always have to re-read the manual on using those features. On the other side I don't know that I have used the weapons much on C-101.

I'm unable to help with that, but you should include a track file of it so that they can determine the cause and see if it is fixable.

That is a great picture, I enjoy seeing where the various components go, it makes easier to understand how they are all connected.

No, it is the Orion with the F/A-18 grip and handle. It turns out it was the cable between base and handle. It was like a $14 dollar fix plus shipping and roughly 2 weeks that I couldn't use the handle. It would have been less, but the wrong cable was shipped out the 1st time. I didn't like the down time, but it is now working normally.

Shoot, we completely forgot about the "ET" birds, they would also be part of the OT/WA tailcode that may be photos with a new weapon or pod that may never make to the unit level.

"OT" is an Operational Test aircraft, it is used to help develop weapon system and test the effectiveness a new weapon platform. From my understanding once the Development group is happy with the results, they start working with Nellis "WA" aircraft to create employment practices for the unit level. So, any photos with an "OT" or "WA" deploying a weapon don't mean that it was ever handed down to a unit or used in combat.

I just had an F-15E do that after about 10 minutes.

I also purchased a Winwing HOTAS and Stick over a year ago, and up until recently, it has performed flawlessly up until it started to unplug and reconnect randomly, during that all the buttons, switch on the HOTAS handle quit working. So I'm in the process of working with their support, and they were considerably more helpful than your initial interaction, it is just painful going back and forth with support (due to a different time zone). I think that they are becoming a big enough fish in this market that they should start thinking about a repair hub/warehouse in the States.

I 2nd that, I would also like the ability to know what their weapons state is. I know that you just view his plane using F2, but I think that it would improve the immersion if he could report both fuel and weapon state.

That is an interesting question. I was under the impression that all the fighters use the same logic, so if they incorporated that in the F-15E, they would also have to have that in the AI F-16, but i could be wrong.

Right now, I'm content with just using the monitor. I have messed around with OC it in the past but didn't seem to get much of a gain. I should probably re-test it out. I really hope that Vulkan API does show a noticeable improvement, but it seems like it is so far away. Circumstances have recently changed so I don't believe that I can swing a 4070 right now, so Vulkan might be my best hope.

Things haven't really gone as planned and looking to revisit this whole deal. So I have a parts list of what I believe is in my system as of now. TomHedlund - Saved Part Lists - PCPartPicker I would like to finally switch out the GPU, I'm kind of disappointed as the price of the 3000 series really hasn't dropped that much, so I'm kind of looking at the 4070, it is really more than I wanted to spend on a card, but I need to do something as the MP itch is too great....lol. This is the 4070 I was looking at specifically MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti VENTUS 3X OC Graphics Card G407TV3X12C (bhphotovideo.com), do you think that it would be a good choice for the cost? Please note that I'm still planning on replacing the everything but the case over the summer and fall, as I'm sure that the MB.CPU will be limiting the GPU. Thank you!
