Relaxing this restriction would be pretty cool.

I had that same problem initially because I had TV Fix assigned on my HOTAS. Once I changed my assignment to TV FIX (three position switch) each RB-75 resets to boresight automatically.

Mi8 most definitely has a nose mounted PKT for the flight engineer to use. Plus two waist gunner (atleast one). And a rear gunner.

There should be 2 waist gunners, a nose gunner, and a rear gunner.

This is correct. I have been carrying 3 types of bombs and have been effectively using them all. All weapons loaded are select-able on the PCA. Once selected the hud either goes into CCIP or CCRP depending on the bomb type. This is my favourite loadout atm. 2xMagic/2xGBU12/4xMK20/4xMK82snakes.

To be able to poke my head out of the open window would be amazing.
