It doesnt change whether foveated rendering is working or not, but if you want to see the quad views on the mirror, you have to enable “both eyes” in the DCS VR settings

Just received varjo VR headset and sadly i am returning it. Can not get it to work correctly with DCS; from what i read before purchasing all the complaints were stuttering, basic performance issues. that is not the case here as i have adequate pc for vr, ddr5, 4090... I cannot get over the cross eye'd gameplay, cannot click on anything in the pit without having to do guess work. your cursor is always 1inch to the right. the setup for the beginning of just 1st starting the game i had 2 cursors? I tried following some of these guides here, great work and helped, but seems some of them are outdated or there is still 6 or 8 different ways of who knows what works or doesn't, none of them seemed to fix the cross eye'd thing for me it was just extremely way to difficult to focus in the pit on aircraft around me where a 2d monitor w/ the f-16, f-18, or apache HMD doesn't bother me at all, but in VR i cannot even play the game, its just way to difficult to focus. i used oculus DK2 when that first came out and only issue ever with that was the picture quality. varjo is amazing in quality but its hard to see anything or use when the HMD is hard to focus or cannot click on anything w/out spending 5-10 seconds for every click. sadge.

im presuming the function was removed to try and fix complaints of pressing alt tab and getting loss of fps when its more so a user error and alt enter not putting the game in full screen and only a restart fixing it... also im just trying to state what is changed to help with some confusion. not saying they can't add the game to refresh when selecting full screen/windowed. but alt enter wasn't it.

this isn't just a dcs issue, if you guys are selecting full screen and alt tabbing out of that, again other game will do this aswell it will break the full screen and some games will even default to windowed mode. in DCS if you check the settings now they put a * next to full screen stating if you are no longer in full screen the only way to fix is to restart the game.

i look in ur settings for ihadss bindings. press i to move to it.

they changed the controls many years ago, so having a controller is more plug and play, w/ very limited controls now need being mapped. so out of the box the a10c is mapped; and they started doing the same w/ other modules. just need to setup or control axis and im sure a limited few, rest is just learning the mapped buttons. I would stay away from target software.

a datacard has nothing to do w/ flir development. so many things wrong w/ what you said and how you said it not worth anyones time to argue w/ you. flir will be out in 2022; its been stated it should be released w/ the ah-64D. "We will continue to improve the FLIR image with the launch of DCS: AH-64D." I know you want to make the comparison how ed is lairs and your some great truth holder, but check the weekly updates for any changes and don't get ur hopes up if its not released w/ the ah-64 and may need more time; its coming. Sometimes it just good to be thankful for the things they are doing.

why would u want a refund on something u know is going to be released? im not asking for a refund and even if they decide to release it "later" this year. just to clarify later could be aug for all i care.

have you tired turning that background limit fps back to off and checking your dcs game to full screen and seeing a difference? personally im using g-sync so im forced to use full screen w/ playing any game for the best performance.

just install OB and enjoy the game. only real reason to use steam would be if ur from some country where steam would then help w/ the purchase of the game.

maybe next time you should consult w/ ur guardian before making anymore online purchases. you've been here since 2012 i would presume you know how this game has gone from 1 a-10 to what it is now, your statement makes zero sense, if you need that money back for other things that would be understanding. i would contact support. and who is we? you got a mouse in ur pocket?

i still think has track ir has something to do w/ stutters, as someone once pointed out you can use ur mouse to look around w/ no stuttering but w/ track ir there is stutters. But also these threads are hard to distinguish what severity of stutters we are talking about, unplayable? noticeable stutters? lower fps stutters? lag from server?

you may not be using the correct radio to contact your wingman.

Minimum system requirements (LOW graphics settings): OS 64-bit Windows 7/8/10; win7 shouldn't be a issue, but the website it only says win7 in low graphic settings anything higher says win8+

went through the same issues, just thought maybe a AIO might not be the answer, but got a new one; different brand and pc has been holding lowest temps i've ever seen w/ a i9 @33c playing all day. take advantage of ur ceiling fan if you have one on those hot summer days.

If ED spent all their time designing missions we would be going backwards. Most of us accept it for what it is at the moment, you seem fairly new to dcs if your expectation is that these missions should be layed out like some AAA single player immersive gameplay. as you have experienced its not, but don't let it discourage u b/c there is some hidden gems. I've even inquired about a mission where there is radio chatter i've never herd before and got no response as to why more missions are not like this. I would suggest getting a good PC and playing multiplayer for the experience your wanting, until then we are waiting for the dynamic campaign. instant action is great i think for what your aiming for.

the problem ur facing i don't think u can fix. if ur comparing trackir to pausing trackir and free looking smoothness; i have yet to find a solution and just live with stutters. but these topics are sometimes hard to troubleshoot b/c u will just get everyones input.

3440x1440 is only 2K 4K is 3840x2160.

pls don't do that, just download the open beta, report findings, play multiplayer, continue getting recent updates. i'll even double down and say if u have a decent pc ur loss of fps will improve w/ further updates sure; but would be negate using some obscure patch and going down that rabbit hole.
