  1. Hi. I have mo idea about that device, but as usual; Try a powered USB, and use a USB directly from the motherboard. Other than that, latest drivers. Check in the device manager and loock for non recognized devices etc. Saludos. Saca111
  2. Hi. Disregard. Solved. Untick "user address constants" and copy/paste the snipet. Saludos. Saca111
  3. Hi all. After some time using the old BIOS, and having issues with it, I decided to jump into the new one (fork). I think I followed the instructions to the letter, but when I copy/paste a snipet (defining the pin) and do the compiling, I get the error "FA_18C_hornet_ARRESTING_HOOK_LT_AM' was not declared in this scope". I think the problem is the Arduino IDE is using the old library, as if I use the old snipet (the one with hexadecimal code), the compilation goes trough and I can upload it. I did instal the new library (dcs-bios-arduino-library-0.3.9), but I think it still uses the old one. Is there any way to uninstall the old and re install the new one? The Arduino IDE is not the latest version, as I used it for the DIY joystick and I would not like to loose it. Could this be the problem? Any help would be very much apreciated. Saludos. Saca111
  4. Hi @Aoi Kaze Also check how many cores you are using for the A/G radar. Check in the options tab, in special/ F-15E and adjust your number to reallity. Play with those numbers and yes, make the page file minimum 32GB. Saludos. Saca111
  5. Hi. It is, evidently, a telephone dial, to call mum after a mission, to tell her her baby is allright! Saludos. Saca111
  6. HI. Disregarda that. Even though having the image inside corresponding to the actual plane is great, I can tell you that it takes no long before you get used to press the buttons without the picture, and let me tell you it rocks. I have the Thrustmaster MFD and they are great, even without the screen. Saludos. Saca111
  7. Hi. Simple... the more buttons you have, the better... I have the WW throttle and Joystick, not the UFC nor the MPCD and I have many button boxes. You can configure the buttons as you like depending on the module. I tend to mimic the actual layout od the cockpit as much as I can, so it is not very difficult to "remember/guess" what button makes what function. So, if you hace space/budget, go for the HUD control unit; interesting for the Hornet and usefull for other modules. Saludos. Saca111
  8. Hi. I am checking the setup tab and I can't see the yaw trim as an axis, so I can't see the use of a pot. I'd rather switha to a rotary encoder and bind it as key inputs. Saludos. Saca111
  9. Hi @MAXsenna and @admiki... That was the trick. In spanish PC this tab is quite far above the mi 24 other tabs that I couldn't see it... Thanks a lot to both. Saludos. Saca111
  10. Hi everybody. I searched in the forums, but no luck, so I post it here. I recently changed the HOTAS, and when I tried to configure again the different modules, I can't find the sight axis for the joystick. I am sure that I had it set up before that way, with my old HOTAS. Has something changed and I missed it out? Is it missing in my copy? I did a repair no long ago, so I don't think it is needed. I post a picture of my config page. Any help is welcome. Saludos. Saca111null
  11. Hi. Sad to hear about your physical problems, but it is almost possible to do a complete mission from the front seat. And, of course, ASAP, find a human pilot and fly CP/G exclusivelly, it is a blast, you will enjoy it to the max. I have flown as gunner in the Hind only, but the experience was really absoving and fullfilling. Saludos. Saca111
  12. Hi. Yesssss, al last a very good idea for a map/terrain. I can' t tell about politic inadeuacyes for that area, I have no clue, but looks really interesting. Go for it! Saludos. Saca111
  13. Hi. To me it looks like a mechanical problem, like something inside is loose. Try to open it (the base) and check all movements. Look fos some piece not attached or too stiff. Can't tell more as I don't know how the X56 is inside, but I have an 52 pro and I guess they are oretty much similar inside. Saludos. Saca111
  14. Disregard.. I found I did set a circuit braker to a button that was initially pressed (LP cock power suply IN/OUT). My bad, I made a mistake while configuring the inputs for the start up sequence, and all thought I could hear the button switching in and out, I could not find it, Took me several hours to find out, as I forgot I bound it. Saludos. Saca111
  15. Hi. Sorry if this problem is somewhere else solved, I couldn't find it... I can't make the engine in the F1 CE to start. Even with the autostart feature, the BP light never goes of, and the engine never get to start. I followed the instructions in the training mission and I can not pass this step as it never starts to spin. I tried the other F1 EE "cold and dark" mission and I started it at first try! (all thought I could not find how to reset the alarm and I leaved the mission). I am trying to uninstall and re instal it back to see if that helps. Any advice on the topic? It is quite urgent, as tomorrow is my birthday and I was planing on gifting it to myself ( I m using the trial option right now) and the perspective of it non functioning is not a good start!
  16. Hi @=HH=MADMAX To me, it looks like the stuttering problem some people are having (me between them). Try the "affinity fix" to see if that helps. To me it is ok, although it is not perfect and still have some crashes when loading the mission. And yes, it sucks that a better PC is doing worst... Saludos. Saca111
  17. Yes. Save the assignements from every module/joy you have to the folder of your choice and then, in the new system, in the controls tab, click on load config/profile and load the saved one. Should go easy. Saludos. Saca111
  18. Hi. This start to point out to the motherboard and the BIOS version. I should try to update my BIOS first... Saludos. Saca111
  19. HI. Nope, but will do as soon as I can. Thanks and happy new year!
  20. Ufffff! That's a relief! I the other hand, I was decided to change the CPU and the motherboard and RAM (in deed, renewing my stuff), but after your journey, I am less prone to do it. I will wait a bit to see if there is some real solution to it. Nice to now you are back in gear and hve luck. Saludos. Saca111 Well, I do use mt and for me it works (kind off); in heavy missions, in the Siria map, the play is not that smooth. Some times I have to switch to 3 cores a few times before it will go fluent. I also noticed that it work better if I wait until the mission/map is fully loaded before doing the switching. My two cents... Saludos Saca111
  21. Hi man. Sad thing you are telling us. We all will be praying for you to have it back again and working with old CPU! Keep us informed... Saludos. Saca111 And yes: if it is not broken, don't fix it!
