It would be nice to here from someone who has experienced real world TPG or FLIR use. It may be the new way is more realistic, but I don't know. My experience with 1st gen thermal imagers is (from memory 20yrs ago) that somewhere in between the 1.2 and new patch fidelity would be right, but the technology has most likely moved on somewhat from those times.

Although the texture I had is different to your picture, I had a similar problem. The fix was to turn mirrors off in options, quit and restart DCS.exe and then turn them back on. Hope it works for you too.

Be sure you have turned off take off assist in the options, miscellaneous. I used to fly mustang no problems with a twist stick, it actually took me quite a while to get used to pedals after 10 years of flight simming with a twist.

Just please don't go with the animated gifs that seem to be getting more popular in people's sigs , I find them very annoying.

Our Aussie nh-90s are officially called MRH-90 Taipan, but I would be more interested in hearing what the guys flying them call them.

I'm sure we could have as much of a hi fidelity harrier as we can a hi fidelity warthog or hornet. I would really love to try to learn the flight characteristics of the harrier, especially if they can get some RL harrier pilots to help make it feel right.

I deselected mirrors in options, exited and restarted dcs turned on mirrors and now it works.
