Alright so the good news is that I put together a IR head tracker device. Finally got it working last night and did the first instant action mission and it was way cool. So the bad news....I have to uninstall CL-eye and reinstall CL-eye everytime I want to run FT. Then, once I have FT working, if i try to make any changes to frame rate the screen goes black and I have to start the whole process over again. So I can get it working but it's freaking annoying to have to go through all that crap. PS3 camera was widely recommended but what a hassel. Should I just get a cheap ass web cam that plays nice with freetrack? I know there is alott of stuff out there on the subject but Ive been searching for a fix for 24 hours and I'm tired of it. Any help is MUCH appreciated. Thanks

Indeed! It does depend on your loadout. I was very frustrated until I learned I could not only trim attitude but roll as well. I believe its RCTRL+, for left wing down and RCTRL+/ for right wing down. Problem solved!

I'm having the exact same annoying right roll problem with my Thrustmaster. Only on missions I create though. It works fine on the training missions. WTF? Is there an Aileron trim key command?

I think my next step is the same mission but I'll start on the ramp cold and use the comms radio.

Well, for the first time, tonight was able to set a quick mission, customize a helpless enemy camp, load up some LGB's, and level that *&$#^%$!!!! Very gratifying.:pilotfly::pilotfly:

Thanks for the reply Manuel!I was aware of the VVI needing to be essentially straight and level to engage. I tried the mission again last night and auto pilot worked. Go figure right after I posted my question. Is there a speed prerequisite for the auto pilot? I.E. <300 knots? Also, I got the Mav to slave last night too...I think I was pushing C instead of V. SMH (blush)

Noob with a few questions.... Hi all, Im a long time flight simmer but new to the DCS series. (mostly FSX) I'm working my way through the tutoials for the second or third time. I have experienced a couple of issues. On precision guided munitions, after I make my first pass and bomb drop over the training area, the autopilot will not engauge. This has happened everytime I have tried this mission. It makes it almost impossible for me to operate the targeting pod and keep her straight and level at the same time. I have checked the autopilot control panel and everything looks fine there. Secondly, on the Maverick tutorial, I can't get the Maverick display to slave to my SOI. I searched for both issues on here and couldn't find anything. Any tips?
