  1. Ah I do not. Ive only updated when the launcher has said there was one available. How do I go about that manually? Thanks!
  2. Ive got the same issue. Its not in my DLC for download? Yes ive got all of the above.
  3. Having an issue where the log book is not recording in Ver 2.5? I dont fly the F15 but didnt want to start a new thread. Any ideas on this? Thanks,
  4. RIP and condolences to his family and the ED team.
  5. Wow! Good for you! Congrats..im sure youll have a find lifetime memory of this.
  6. R Alt J takes control of your Aircraft.. at least in the Spitfire. Oh well..thanks guys
  7. Just curious if you can get out walk around without bailing out in either DCS world? Its the only way I know how to get out of the plane. Thanks,
  8. Thanks for the responses I actually read where Bud Anderson said he could power off with a Spitfire and was curious about it...He was talking about how he got washed out of the Spitfire program for going out and getting drunk and coming back late for duty or something like that LOL. I practiced last night like you would with a 172 etc.. at 1K Ft in the pattern and reduced RPM and Throttle in the pattern aligned with the runways end and was able to land quite successfully.
  9. When you guys fly the pattern do you try and do power off approaches/landings? Was/is that something war bird guys do? Just curious if thats part of operating procedure with a warbird?
  10. Got it..I was practicing and noticed setting my rudder trim the plane reacted the opposite way.. Turns out the trim was inverted..much easier to take off now too as an added bonus LOL. As well as adjust for level flight. Thanks,
  11. As the Spitfire uses no aileron trim are you guys just naturally keeping the roll straight with the stick or do you use rudder trim to help? Whats proper way to deal with this? I have an X55..I cant imagine always holding the stick to the right? Just curious as i beleive the real pilots would have a hell of time doing this. Thanks,
  12. VFA 204 Also has a nice Centennial Scheme in addition to their regular Paint. Great work though guys.
  13. Got it! Thanks for the responses guys. Much appreciated.
  14. Hi Guys, Been away for awhile and am mostly interested in the WW2 side of things. Ive gotten the assets pack, Normandy and Combined arms. Now that I have the DCS 2.0 is there a need for 1.5? Just curious why Id want to have both for any reason? Sorry if it seems like such a basic question. Thanks, Pat
  15. Hi Guys, Been away for awhile and just downloaded Normandy and the assets pack/combined arms Maybe I missed it but is there a plan for DCS to create formal Missions for the Normandy Map? Just curious as im only seeing user created ones. Thanks, Pat
  16. Thanks for the replies. I agree that I have a ton of bad habits. I reset all my X55 dead zones (left a bit of one in all axis) and curves back to stock and ill leave them that way so I know its not an awkward controller setting. I played around against the AI tonight and watched and re watched my replays looking for where I'm not feeling in complete control and trying to do better. Ill keep at it but it really is a super super fine line with this thing. At least for now with me. I'm sure ill get better control/more precise with more practice.
  17. Its funny about this airplane for me.. It never feels consistent in hard cornering or when I'm flying looking out canopy and trying to track an enemy. Maybe its me or maybe I'm not quite pulling directly on the axis of my stick properly so I'm getting some elevator in the aileron or vice versa. It just feels like its all over the place. I can land and take off without issue but it is a bit more sloppy with the Dora then other airplanes. Id hate to give up on it as I love the plane but don't feel like I'm a very proficient pilot with it at all. Anyone ever get this feeling about the Dora? (I wonder even if its my deadzone in my stick perhaps? I'm going to fool with it a bit and see.)
  18. Thanks for implementing whats done so far for it! Looks like ill need a small bean bag on the palm rest of my controller during 3000rpm level flight for now LOL
  19. Its funny but I came onto the forums tonight looking for a work around to this if there was one. I'm assuming there was some sort of ground adjustment or offset. If not an inflight mod (I dont think there should be if it wasn't really available) perhaps one like the 109 has in the settings page that would allow for aileron trim would be fair?
  20. Hi guys, Ive copied and pasted my controls configuration (for the Dora) from my 1.5 directory into the 2.0 Alpha. When I go to load them in 2.0 They wont. Is this something ill have to setup all over again between the sims? Just curious if perhaps I may be doing something wrong? Any ideas? Thanks, Pat
  21. Odd? I logged on a few times and I just had greyed out modules etc...Finally on the 4th or 5th time it said I had modules to be installed. It installed them. I just purchased the NTR and its downloading and installing now.
  22. Hi all, I have DCS and all of the WW2 acft installed. Ive installed 2.0 separately from the DCS directory but it says my modules aren't available, once I purchase the Nevada Testing Range will the other Modules become available? I'm not sure of how I'm supposed to set any of this up really? Any explanation or help would be appreciated. Thanks, Pat
  23. Hi Guys, I fly with the P51 Mod installed. I downloaded the new patch and with all seetign the same Im haveing a flickering cloud issue now. Im using GTX 690. There was no setting that I saw for adative SLI in the Nvidia control panel. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
