Let me attach a couple of tracks then. This one is my typical pass: Cut and 3 Points. When the burble effect kicks in, AoA becomes unstable. Even pulling the stick all the way back does not help. burble_cut_3pts.trk And this one, with the same weather conditions, is that rare occasion when I didn't exceed the 3 Points threshold from the point of view of the LSO. burble_ok.trk

I am also puzzled by the burble. I'd say 80% of my CASE 1 approaches are now rated C and 3PTSIW. I understand why a burble could cause an increased sink rate. But this nose down effect iis killing me. I started to develop a habit to pull the stick almost fully backwards, and add some throttle over the deck. Feels rather unnatural.

Hi, I've just got Cut / 3PTSIW (landed three points) from LSO. I watched the track, and it is clear (to my uncalibrated eyeball) that nose wheel was reasonably high above the deck at touchdown. I admit that my AoA was less than 8.1 because I added power to MIL right before touchdown, but certainly this is far from landing on nose wheel. Please have a look at my track and screenshot. Полагаю, ошибок с вводом координат и высоты цели нет? Тогда проверь ветер в миссии. Есть подтверждённый баг, что JDAM мажут при сильном ветре: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=268407

Режим AUTO вместо MAN включаешь (OSB 13)? Возможно, ты не успеваешь вовремя подсторить угол подъёма антенны, потому что чем ближе цель, тем точнее должен быть угол. Отправлено с моего SM-G950F через Tapatalk

Thank you, this is really an issue for GBU-38 only. I've just tried my mission with GBU-31, and it was pretty accurate. Who says that killing a BMP with 2000 lbs bomb is an overkill?!

When you're dropping GBU-12s, there's that long vertical drop line. It is wind-adjusted, and if you put total velocity vector on that line, then you effectively turn into the wind. Have a look at my screenshot please. Target "diamond" is on heading 200, vertical line makes me fly effective heading 210. My hypothesis is that this allows accurate delivery of GBUs in windy weather. I would appreciate of someone from ED could comment though.

Hi, I noticed that accuracy of JDAMs gets significantly worse if there is wind in the mission. I am attaching two tracks. I drop GBU-38 with approximately the same parameters: 18k feet, 265 knots, 6.5nm to target. The only difference is wind. In one track it is zero, in another it is 12 knots on ground level. In the first case JDAM is accurate. When there is wind, JDAM misses by tens of meters. I'm not sure whether this is a bug or not. I can imagine that smart munitions are not all-mighty. Обратил внимание, что Хорнет кидает старые добрые Mk82 точнее, чем A-10C. Буквально, одна бомба - одна цель. Провёл небольшой эксперимент: кидал бомбы в пикировании 30 градусов с 5000 футов со следующими настройками систем: 1. Радар - Off 2. Радиовысотомер - Off 3. Давление на высотомере - 31.00 при реальном 29.70. 4. Высота Waypoint на HSI - 10,000 футов. Ветер в миссии 6 м/c у земли. Итого - 8 умерших БМП из 8. Поэтому интересно, как в симе работает вычислитель CCIP. Откуда, например, он знает наклонную дальность или комбинацию моей высоты и высоты цели? У меня была гипотеза, что он может использовать радар, но бомбы кидаются и с радаром в Off. Похоже, что как и в A-10C у Хорнета есть цифровая карта местности, а собственная высота берётся из GPS/INS. Это так? Что со скоростью ветра? В A-10C, помнится, нужно было по слоям вбивать в CDU скорость, направление и температуру, чтобы улучшит точность. В Хорнете всё работает автомагически.

Отличный шаблон, спасибо! Периодически задумывался о чём-то подобном, но всё руки не доходили. Теперь и не дойдут :) По теме профилей, мне помогает не запутаться следование двум принципам (хотя они и противоречат друг друг время от времени). 1. Назначать те же функции, что есть на HOTAS в реальном аппарате. 2. Назначать схожие функции в разных самолётах на одни и те же кнопки.

Hi, it looks like that DCS Updater is signed with ED's certificated, and Kaspersky treats it as trusted. For some reason, DCS.exe from OpenBeta is not signed by the same certificated, and by default Kaspersky puts it to "low restrictions" group, which impedes startup.
