I have DCS installed on the C drive and I want to move it to another drive. Could that be as simle as copy the folder to a new drive ? Or will I have to uninstall and reinstall it ? I use the free non steam version of DCS. Might also point out I have many purchased modules.

Even better would be if we could have it like VR in MSFS. The program is launched in 2D. Then after starting a flight we switch to VR with a keycombination. There are no reason to be in VR when navigating menues and setting things up. Add this to the wishlist.

In one of the tutorials I am supposed to set the TACAN to channel 67. I turn on it which is indicated with ON in the display. Then enter 67 and press enter. But that is not stored and the channel number is set in the display to the right with indication X as expected. I have tried pressing the button adjacent to X but nothing helps. Also after a short while the UFC display is extinguished. Is that normal ?

I also very often experience DCS crashing when I press FLY. That is with the tutorials. I have a HP Reverb G2 VR headset

I find no such button on the throttle. I don't find any button on the throttle that can be clicked with the mouse. Might mention I use VR.

I have just finished the first mission. After the external tank got empty I tried to release it. Could not do that. At the back left side are some handles which seem to be two for each station. I tried the middle in all possible way together with pressing the stick button nothing helped.

I don't see that if I set the switch to Guns and Camera

With the title I meant no K-13 gyro gunsight (the only one I had seen before). So in this campaign we instead have Mk VIII. But should that not be any illuminated reticle and center cross point ?

Print screen button did not seem to work. Find no screenshot. Where is it supposed to saved ? But I can say that the gunsight is there when startin a tutorial. In this campaign it's not there instead I see turn coordination indicator. It don't look like som distorted graphics, but just as if the gunbsight were not installed. Running the repair did not solve the problem

I don't know how to take a screenshot. In DCS P47 controls I found a screenshot entry listed as sysrq. I have no such button on my keyboard The same regarding run a repair. Don't know how to do it

No I don't have any mods and have not disabled anything in the editor. Have purchased and installed the products nothing more

After starting this campaign I noticed in the first mission that the gun sight is missing. I mean the gun sight we have in the P47 tutorials

More detailed description of what I do. In MSI Afterburner under properties I select monitoring. Then I click the checkbox 'show in on screen display' for the framerate options a total of seven and I choose to display text. And those are then listed as 'in OSD' in the list above like the variables that do get displayed. But only the two first (framerate and frametime) are displayed in the game.Have tried several different games.

I already had MSI Afterburner installed. I have followed the tutorial in this video and it mostly work. But I am not able to display min average max fps or 0.1% 1% fps. Only main fps and frametime

How can we make that information (we see in the video) that we see in the upper left corner visible in DCS ?

I have purchased one which I use with a 5800X3D 32 Gb RAM together with a HP Reverb G2 for VR. I can't fell otherwise than a little disappointed. The preset setting for VR in DCS felt like an insult to my system. When using the preset HIGH I got severe stutters when plane flying above me on the ground. What is the best settings ? Are there any descriptions for how the different settings affect performance ? And if GPU or CPU is mostly affected ? (info we got in XP) I noticed much better improvements in MSFS

Here I see no drop at all

I have noticed these things that I am not sure if they are normal The directional gyro and the magnetic compass does not agree. For example in the startup tutorial and I get the impression he suggests they should. My assigned buttons do not always work. For example the button to bring up the communication menu does not work in instant action missions. But no problem in the tutorials. Another example the water injection button does not work in the tutorials but in the instant action missions. When testing the magnetos after startup I see no drop att all in rpm. Is that normal ? Should there not be at least some slight drop in rpm ?

Not yet but I do have information. This is a tutorial and I don't make any changes in the plane except when I am told to. Gear always extends. Then when I move my assigned switch for the flaps I see the flap handle move as intended in the cockpit. Also see hydraulic pressure in the green. In both cases it helped with the hydraulic hand pump for some times.
