Just came back to the 16 after a few months long hiatus and i have to agree with all of the above, what on earth happened how did the 16 go from perfectly workable and fun to this......I have a squad mate who just dropped a ton of $ on some new sim stuff and he's planning to return after a long break, i fear once he see's the state of the 16 he's just going to uninstall and go play the other 16 simulator...sad

  3. Any plans to add an expanded link 16 ? It feels like we've only really got 1/10th of a link16 datalink i would personally love to see some ground based link 16 donors added rather than be reliant on having E3's everywhere in missions these could also be tied to a lot of multiplayer missions that utilise player deployed units. Pretty please unleash link16. null

So it's ok for people to watch other people play the module they've paid for, for weeks or months with no hint on when it's actually going to be released and remove all the enjoyment they could have had themselves ? The end result being "oh another f15 vid released ":* youtubers:" Is It right to ask people to pay for ea only to have to watch other people playing the product they've paid for? I think you should be asking youtubers to step away from the 15 due to the the current drama because now it really is going to be having to watch other people play the module we paid for - for literal weeks. Market in moderation - youtube access should have only been given for a limited period, because now it's just going to annoy people and this has been the case for the last 3 modules released it's getting old and quite frustrating.

If it's good enough for a youtuber it should be good enough for everyone, the preview phases last for way to long swamp all social modia and suck away any joy anyone had for the module after a while and end up leaving resentment, i get the marketing point of view but market it on a build intended for everyone 1-2 weeks before the release, you have a week or 2 to record content and release preview vids, people then look forward to the actual release with a few vids to preceed it rather than leaving it open for weeks and being swamped in pointless vids and leaving people feeling like youtubers are releasing vids just to rub people faces in to a product they've already paid for "haha look at what i'm playing and you're not" - call it marketing in moderation
  6. Sad about this, the dots fixed the one major issue i've had with DCS since i started playing it back in 200x in lomac days the literal ability to see other planes up close. So sadly despite my hatred of this i'm just going to run in 1080 from now on, now if i bump up all my settings it doesn't look to terrible on a 32" just everythings really blown up but at least i can see everything.
  7. So we really are going to have to endure weeks of subpar youtube videos building frustration and hype again watching other people play a module many have already pre-ordered and just want to play themselves?
  8. A truck in a hover off the nose ? or chasing an ai mi8 in straight and level? I generally do take the gun at that point regardless but some of the firing restrictions applied to george sometimes feel a little restrictive and more times a little frustrating as knowing i've done them myself or had a friend in the cpg seat who's done it as well in similar situations with success - I did not mean for you to take this as any form of rant, criticism or sarcasm but more honest feedback so apologies if this annoyed you for some reason - have a good afternoon.
  9. Ok that explains why George is not shooting the gun at a target 200yards away off the nose and slightly below you, because it's suboptimal - for me it's frustrating because i'm yelling "he's right there just shoot it"........
  10. ^^^^ this is the bit i read in the manual after doing some further digging, i really should read the manual more @Raptor9But i guess another question is would it be possible to allow George to fire from further away ? His maximum range is a lot closer than what i consider my max range to be when firing from the cpg seat after playing around with the L's for a few hours.

Don’t seem to be able select RF hellfires from the pilots seat like with the cpg seat it seems to be stuck in sal, but no way to get out of it, have tried the suggested fixes in the other thread with rf and Sal mix but to no avail anyone else having this? I like having the option to fire hellfires myself…. disregard have to wait for fcr
  12. Wouldn't it make more sense to finish the litening with proper implementation then add lantirn and give the choice ? A lot of peeps did actually buy the 16 with the litening pod on the sales page seems a bit misleading to now suddenly take it away after 3 years for something with less capability and cause a new drama about nerfs and ED bad arguments.
