  1. Thank you I will be in touch although I do not know how to PM you
  2. Thank you... I have no idea how to PM you.
  3. Thank you... I will look into that
  4. Chief not doing so good My husbands Brain cancer has progressed and he is no longer able to "fly" This breaks my heart because he loved this hobby so much. I do need to find someone who can use his equipment... he has a lot of it. I'd like to get something for it mostly I want it to go to someone who'd enjoy it nearly as much as he has. Chief 1942 is still hanging on ...Praising his Lord and loving his family. I know he misses you all and his flights.
  5. My husband has been an active member and supporter of DCS world for many years. He has now got a terminal brain tumor and is unable to operate his aircraft ...equipment. He has all the "stuff" …. trax seat, controls, pedals etc. In fact some things he has multiple generations because he liked to stay up with the latest and greatest. I must get rid of this and I have no idea where to begin. He truly loved this hobby and he would want all his "stuff" to be used not thrown away. I would like to get a little something for it but it is most important that it goes to someone who will enjoy the hobby. Any advice for the easiest solution would be appreciated. Oh I should add we are located in central Arizona.
  6. Still trying. No luck I have still NOT been able to get the A-4C-E from showing in the DCS/openbeta, It shows in the "beta" except in the actual module except it is shown as in the main module. I read your response to someone else having the problem, and I noticed that you said their must be a "bin" file in the A-4C-E . I have an "bin" file is every one of my modules but NOT one in the A-4C-E, How do I get one that perhaps is keeping me from actually flying it inside the openbeta. Thanks. I have had several tell me how to load the plane and it shows everywhere in the game BUT the flight of the plane itself.
  7. Could someone tell me why I can't get this A-4E-C to show in my "beta". I followed each direction and have the picture there, unfortunately I cannot find it in "the modules" When I try certain to find that module, I get a message that the " Files Do Not Exist" from the "Users" with my name in C:users. Just can't figure out why I can't get the A-4C-E. Any direction for me the idiot currently, I would appreciate that. Been waiting for that A-4 C-E that I served for 4 years year's ago.
  8. Bun, Thank you and so many that wish me the best. Might seem odd, but I do spend most of my computer time right here on this DCS forum more than anywhere else. At least here, there are people who are as aware as I am as to just how much enjoyable it is.
  9. Thanks everyone. Totally new situation for me, but must say, even though going to the treatment for the problem, I STILL enjoy flying DCS because that has been very great for me for many years.
  10. Wags, I simply want to make sure how surprised ,even with ALL the enjoyment DCS has provided me with the enjoyment over the years. that this business you are so much part of, is actually beneficial and helpful with my current problem. I never thought I would experience the brain cancer, but as they treat me for it, what I have enjoyed from you folks for years is helpful as well with my situation.Thank you
  11. Outlawal2, Thanks, and you are right, just staying involved with these types of programs (DCS) are actually a physical improvement even above ALL the enjoyment of simply making believe we have some of that true ability.
  12. Thank you Javelina1, fellow Arizona. This issue has been to my benefit to have access to a great medical that deals specific with this illness. But, as I stated, I am very pleased as the level of DCS and the proof that actually be an asset to my recover for my problem. Simply watching the Indernet about what is going on in this world today, is NOT going to help.
  13. About a week ago I got an examine due to some speaking process in my life. The issue wasn't having most of my capable of flying DCS and even the F-18C and almost all of the new stuff. I am not any thing but a single flyer so I don't get challenged with the abilities of you young flyers. Heck, studying the new stuff and doing okay. Well, it turns out my medical issue turns out to brain cancer directly affecting my speak brain speaking ability. Had surgery and have quite a bit of cancer treatment to get rid of the issue. I have just returned home after the surgery and am awaiting the several months treatment. I thought, what the heck, how the heck is this medical issue affecting my ability to fly the DCS aircraft that I have for years. Went to the P-51D, which I prefer older aircraft, and although there is some definite getting back into the proper procedure, I did okay. Was able to win the air to air battle against the German aircraft. There are some medical issues that need to be fixed to get me back to the prior capability, but DCS is a major for training for my new medical issue. At 76 years old, what a wonderful access for me to get through this. Thank you DCS.
  14. f410, Thank you. I have been one of those that had some issues on MY PC and that was the cause of my functioning with SSA. When reading many typical issues people are having with the system you put out there for us, it seems almost all are just like me, having problems with the loading, using , and the correct characteristics with the program you have provided. Once we get OUR personal problems resolved, then what you have done for us is really very, very correct in your release. Thank you for SSA and thanks for being advising and patient with all us out here who think the problems are with you when in reality, the problems are due to us.
  15. I have been able to get the OpenBeta fixed and updated. Seems it is all okay at the moment.
  16. Finally got the DCS Updater 2.8.1.58 to complete the update after 18 hours. When I start the new 2.5.2.18521 it does not have ANY of my modules installed. When I go to the "Module Manager" it puts up an "install Modules" list with all the modules I have purchased and when I click to install those modules, it does NOT install them. It actually starts the DCS Updater 2.8.1.58 all over again. If I leave that running but try the modules install process again I get an error message that says "D:\DCS World OpenBeta\autoupdate_log.txt:[32]The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process." I have no idea what is going on unless it is referring to the reality that the DCS updater is in process once again. I am going to leave the DCS 2.8.1.58 running for another 20 hours but I don't see how that could possibly put my purchased modules back into that DCSBeta 2.5.2.18521. Can you please give me some directions to fix this so I can get back to the DCS OpenBeta 2.5. Thanks you.
  17. Have never had the types of issues I now have from todays DCS Beta update. My .exe has disappeared. None of my existing Eagle Dynamics various applications on my Windows Open Programs list are even active now. When I go to my Open Beta 2.5.2 install on it's own SSD, the icon that I used to start the program has disappeared and even the "Updater" in the Bin folder does not work. Am totally lost on how to fix the problems. It has even affected my Final Release 2.5 desktop icon and I cannot even get it returned to the normal, active icon after this today's update has porked my installs. Any thoughts on how I might be able to fix whatever took place without having to download a new copy of the DCS Open Beta? When I click on the old, working icon that was on my desktop, I get this error msg "error creating process". I did find DCS Updater 2.8.1.58 in an allusive location in C:/users/my name/AppData/Local/Temp/DCS openbeta, so I have restarted another update but it took hours before and will most likely take another several hours. Not sure how I repair all my DCS applications along with my DCS Updater GUI Utility that Skate Zilla has provide many of us with. Never been up against anything like this. Thoughts?
  18. My honor to your Dad! Semper Fi!! I spent about 3 years with VMA-121. That squadron left El Toro for carrier transport to Iwakuni Japan. I didn't have enough time left to make that Pac Cruise so they transferred me to VMA-311 which had just returned to MCAS El Toro. That was the squadron I served up until my discharge in 1965.I was with VMA-311 from mid-1964 till about May 1965. VMA-311 went from MCAS El Toro right to Chu Lai as the conflict in Viet Nam began. Their aircraft were pretty much the latest A-4E's as the Skyhawks were continually being upgraded by Douglas. My last duties, even though my MOS was a "Structural Mechanic", I was a Plane Captain on the flight and launched the pilots in the specific aircraft I was assigned to. For 4 years I was part of the "training" for ultimate combat operations. It wasn't until after my discharge that they actually called a "game". I tried to get back in so I could actually do all that they had trained us for over those 4 years. Unfortunately, since the draft was in place at that time, they would not take me back in because of "3 strikes" they laid on me. I was married. Strike 1, I was a father. Strike 2. And my official MOS (6641) was not in any sort of demand. Strike 3. Stayed in touch with a lot of the guys I served with in VMA-311 as they did their tour in Viet Nam. So long ago all that. But I still remember a lot of the things I was exposed to during my service. So look forward to this A-4E mod that's coming for DCS World. It will mostly be an actual aircraft that I knew top to bottom. Just was NOT a pilot so never actually got to take those Skyhawks off. My respect and honor to your Dad for all his service.
  19. Yes! That was the issue. I am not sufficient enough with PC's to understand why this problem manifested itself when I moved both my DCS installs (DCS Release and DCS Beta 2.5.2) to a new Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD and when I did that then the problems I explained to you came about. I have removed that Samsung SSD and put my PC back to the drives it was before and everything is working fine now. I think the issue was that the file "Scripts" that contained the "Export.lua" was not installing on that Samsung 860EVO SSD. They were there on the older installs and since I am back to that, the "Export.lua" file is working just fine. When I do connect this 500GB Samsung 860 EVO SSD to my PC via a USB connection, I can play both DCS installs and your SSA works fine. I'm lost as to why that issue came about the way it did, but I am one happy camper now because I have my fully functional Jet Seat and your SSA program working whenever I fly either DCS on the SSD's installed on my PC the way they were before, and I can also run them fine via the new SSD as long as I connect to my PC via USB. Am not smart enough to figure that arrangement out, but I'm staying put until I learn what was the cause of all this mess. Thank you for all your help and Andre who has also contributed to my resolution.
  20. Yes, I've started the SimShaker for Aviators from the icon contained in the new install. Everything works fine UNTIL I start either DCS release or DCS 2.5 Beta. I am simply puzzled at what is stopping the SSA from actually functioning within those DCS programs. One thing I did do was place both the release and the Beta on one new Samsung SSD 500GB. I also have the 2.5 Beta on a Samsung M.2 stick as well. Since my issues appear to have occurred when I did that then I MUST believe that it is NOT something with your program, but something connected with my PC and the SSD's. Thanks for all your help even though it is NOT your program that is causing the problem evidently.
  21. If I click on the "SimConnect Debug view", this is what I get. Is this the source of my problem? 22. Is this what you wanted? I opened the 'Service" tab and checked the "Log to screen" box. Went into DCS, no JetSeat response in the sim and there was nothing on the "Log to Screen" box under the Service tab except when I tested the Jetseat by pushing the "Test Vibe-Motors". I'm lost on what's going on and why it just stopped functioning.
  23. Here is the old export.lua. As to logs, the only logs I have are dated back on 5-31-2018 at a time the SSA was working fine, so I see no reference to that in the logs. Export.old.lua
