Hi all, I am looking for a group of like minded pilots which like to fly mainly WW2 aircraft. I have the Spitfire which I am learning and can fly, it is great fun but I also have the mossie and P-51 learn. I do have more modern aircraft but to be honest a bit feed up in trying to fly people to train with them and am looking for a more hands on flying experience which you get with a warbird rather than flying a computer driven aircraft. I also got the Channel and Normandy maps as well as the WW2 assets pack. I am UK based! I look forward to hopefully hearing from someone with same sort of interest in warbirds Thanks Ajax (Ben)

Hornet - I made these several years ago, based on a model of the CVN by Tomcatz, with his agreement, feel free to use these if you wish

I have been making a mod for a British carrier and I wanted to know if I am breaking any rules or copyright with ED. i have made / adapted some of the lua files which goes in a folder in the save games. It ties into the Stenis carriers model and in my mod I am redoing the textures. I am doing it this was rather than making just a simple skins so I can name the carrier and have it show up in the mission editor and in the game as a British carrier. is this a ok thing to do. I am not claiming to have made the model or anything, I am just manipulating the system to have a carrier in name in the game and for it to appear read with my skin. No need to put one in the livery. comments welcome please. I just don’t want to get into trouble.

HornetUK replied to HornetUK's topic in Squadron Recruiting
Lol I was part off Rafair uk. left after I felt I was being pushed to do tests and being blocked from doing missions -
Hi All, I am a UK based AV8BNA Harrier pilot looking for a new home, I have been learning the harrier for the past 3 months and I am able to fly navigate and use some of the Harriers weapon system. On Top of that I have just made my first mission for the harrier and hope to be able to add other aircraft too. It is my hope to be able once I have finished learning the harrier to go on and train on the F/A-18 too. If you think you have room for me in your team, please do send me a message or answer on the Forum. I am also willing and able to use DISCORD. Thanks Ben Davies (AJAX)

Looking for PC help to return to DCS

Many thanks for all that, I am waiting till October to see the new invidia cards. I going to go with PCspecialist in the uk. -
I am going for the rift s as it is affordable! Money is a issue I am not able to work due to illness. I just want a workable system to start. Not looking to push the boundaries just being able to use vr and not a screen if the object! I have £1500 for the PC and £400 for a headset. That’s what I have no more - no less. I already have hotas!

No I have nothing yet. I will be buying a system from scratch. I am looking to buy in October just trying to get an idea. I have a budget for my pc on its own of around £1500 at the most -
No I have nothing at the moment but going to get a oculus rift to start as it is in my budget. I not looking for perfection but a reasonable experience that takes me beyond a flat screen. I am looking for something that plain and simply works. It may not be the best but I can fly with it. Does that make sense? I don’t have tons of money so I want something to last me two years at least. I am happy to go with the 2070 if it works. I have to draw a line somewhere if you know I mean as in money!
