  1. Same with me. Everything looks good but its not connecting to the game for some reason.
  2. 2 MBS for me. Fine. Gotta set up my hog anyway and do some work quick
  3. I have the big brother the x6-1500GT, Homing switches are a a great idea, mechanical or hall effect. I went with hall effect. If you are using mach 3 get the blue screen set by big tex. You can set up a touch probe for stock offset and a tool setter that makes changing tools easy. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/open-source-cnc-machine-designs/101878-cnc-forum.html For software I recommend fusion 360. You wont get anything better for the price. Its amazing. as far as cutting goes. make a sacrificial board. Mill it flat on the machine. Check out g wizard for feeds and speeds. Drillman 1 on ebay is an excellent source for cutters. Looking good so far! good luck to you! also I found scotch permanent double sided tape to be the best. the yellow kind. http://www.amazon.com/Scotch-665-2PK-Double-Sided-Office-Inches/dp/B001A3Q1XQ/ref=pd_sim_229_7?ie=UTF8&refRID=1ME5H1E8RFN317BET1C8
  4. Thanks! No designs yet, Still in my head. I am just thinking the direction I need to take this is build a stand alone modular base. Easily switchable from Helo to plane flight. I also want it to be compatible with current and future sticks. Right now its going to be slow going until I can experiment myself. I am thinking some adjustable rotary dampers and spring combo and a travel stop that is easy to remove/change strength. I think essentially some of the parts are beyond my 3 axis CNC capability and I can outsource. I was even thinking if possible a kick starter may get me the equipment and funding to get me where I need to be to make most of the components in house.
  5. Tube bender. Ill probably end up making something or outsource it.
  6. I plan on making a few sets as soon as I get time. They will be 6061 Aluminum with aluminum pipe. The hole size for the pipes can be adjusted and will use sets screws to change the angle if desired. Pipes can be cut to desired extension lengths and I plan on making it modular so you can easily switch out to a Helo extension. for the connections I plan on buying the plain connections and making my own plastic pieces that are similar to the stock configuration. I will probably develop an adapter to use springs and hydraulic dampers with the base of the warthog or make my own. For now im gonna keep it simple and just get the basics perfected.
  7. Had to take a break from work and have a little fun today. Started working on my Modular extension. Enjoy! Ill post more when I make some more parts.
  8. Thanks! Grizzly mill is gone. Sold it. Those are Air/vacuum pumps I got from ebay. I think they are used as medical oxy pumps. hahaha! Thread milling is awesome.... well looks awesome. Haven't tried it yet.
  9. Thread milling! My garage will be packed to the gills after this.
  10. Yes it will, Materials ordered. Should be messing around with it in the next week or so. Have a conduit bender at work I'm going to try.
  11. Tormach PCNC 1100 : P Already testing the CAM! https://screencast.autodesk.com/Main/Details/4b5df446-1ef0-414d-bc20-dcd85538dfed
  12. I was planning on 1" but 3/4 might be the ticket. Have some powered conduit benders at work.... Good plan!
