  1. Yes, in fact, that seems to be the problem. I did in fact have mavs onboard and selected.. Thank you both for your input.
  2. What's expected; Per Chuck's guide pages 263 (TGP) and 300 (FLIR), For TGP, •RAID/FLIR Field of View Select Button Short Hold Toggles Wide/Narrow field of view •RAID/FLIR Field of View Select Button Long Hold Toggles TV ( Charged coupled Device) and FLIR ( Infrared) modes For FLIR, •RAID/FLIR Field of View Select Button Short Hold Toggles Wide/Narrow/Medium field of view •RAID/FLIR Field of View Select Button Long Hold Toggles TV and FLIR ( Infrared) modes What happens; With sensor select on the TGP or FLIR DDI; looking around at targets or doing nothing in particular, nothing happens with short or long presses of the RAID/FOV button. How to recreate, Flying any mission, using the TGP or FLIR, short presses do not change FOV, and long presses do not change mode. I have confirmed that the Raid/FOV button is assigned in DCS to the button I am pushing and the button press registers in DCS by highlighting the command when pushed.
  3. Most recent open beta patch enables a maneuver flaps option for the tomcat.
  4. Any chance we can get a Up (Half) Down option for the flaps to utilize the Thrustmaster warthog throttle flaps switch?
  5. Interesting, I'll try that next time I'm on. Thank you Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  6. lol.... Can confirm this sound as well.. A low deep moan that you feel deep in your chest on startup.. I was an aircraft director in the Navy.. Started many many C (and later E and F) models on shore duty..
  7. Will the artificial horizon and VVI be added to the A/A radar page at some point? (Right DDI in attached picture)
  8. Please create an option in settings to allow slewing the ir seeker on the maverick without having to depress the tdc designator button. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  9. I'd like the same thing for launch bar please.. Oddly, in quick action missions, the launch bar switch works properly, when I start the aircraft up on my own, the switch takes 2 throws to toggle the launch bar.. (flick the switch up to drop the bar, click the switch down and back up to raise the bar again..) Maybe this is a bug.. It's inconsistent from quick action mission and self starting.. 10. This all day.. The ground capabilities for the 15 and 16 were all something that came well after the aircraft were designed/created. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  11. Mother refers to the carrier.. Perhaps it's carrier course with winds across the deck.. State 5.4 is 5400lbs of fuel. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  12. It might be better to simulate damage to the aircraft in the case of overweight landings... Blown tire, blown strut, prevent a main gear from retracting or extending, hook failure or engine or structural failure are all things that could realistically be modeled on an aircraft that lands overweight.. The carrier could also potentially simulate a wire breakage and being out of service for the time it takes to swap the wire. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

  14. somehow I'm not sure what I did, but I got the issue fixed. Thanks for looking!
  15. Trying to bind AV8B hotas controls to my warthog causes my screen to go black with the music playing in the background once I hit ok. Only seems to happen with the Harrier. I've uninstalled the Harrier module and reinstalled it with no luck. I have to alt-tab out of the game, get to control manager and end the DCS process to do anything else. I try to get back into DCS and the control binds were not saved. Any ideas?
  16. Right now my throttle unit is sitting at the local computer shop with them trying to replace the pcb and put it back together.. If they cannot do it, I've already spoken to TM for them to possibly do an out of warranty RMA.. I'll wait to see what the computer shop has to say about it. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  17. Good day pilots.. I come to you with an issue I'm currently facing. at this time, I'm elbow deep in my TM HOTAS Warthog throttle quadrant. TM has been communicating with me regarding a secondary right PCB replacement. The PCB needed to be replaced because I had the eng oper switch stop working correctly. TM told me that although they don't have instructions on how to replace the secondary right PCB, it'd be similar to replacing the Main PCB and sent instructions for it. DO NOT ACCEPT THIS! Push for sending them your throttle unit and having them send you a replacement or repaired throttle instead. Learn from me.. I'm about 2 hours into this, I've pretty much disassembled everything and I'm not sure if I will be able to reassemble everything again. Already considering buying a new throttle unit instead of having to attempt to put it all back together..
  18. I'm looking to identify a replacement for the Left eng oper switch. Mine seems to have lost it's detent. Also, if anyone has a tutorial on how to open up the throttle to replace the switch, that would be very helpful. Thank you very much!
  19. I'm having a slight issue... During the cold start training mission, I cannot seem to get the trim system working in 1.5. Seems to be working fine in 2.1. Anyone have any input?
  20. It'll probably get more attention posted in the Bugs section or the 1.5 section. -Damien
  21. What about not using the TGP? If you TMS fwd short the seeker head will go into scan mode searching a small cone out in front of the aircraft.. Just point your aircraft in the general direction of threats and fire when you lock on.
  22. the barometric pressure adjustment on your altimeter can have a big difference in the correct altitude, causing you to be just outside the altitude parameters. At altitudes below FL180 you're supposed to set for barometric pressure. At altitudes FL180 and above, you're supposed to set your altimeter at 29.92. If you don't have your altimeter set right with the barometric pressure, your altimeter could be reading several hundred off in the proper adjusted altitude. Get in a quick mission and play around with it... You'll see how much that adjustment can mess with the altitude displayed on your altimeter and hud. Hope this helps.
  23. is your kollsman window on your altimeter set at 2833? Are you egressing to the north or south? -Damien
  24. For my startup, EAC is the very last thing I hit before I start my taxi. It takes so long because it has to wait for the CDU to go through it's alignment. CDU shows T=4.0.0.8 and Nav ready is blinking. Hit the NAV CDU OSB button, go between your knees (behind the stick) and hit EGI, and go over to the left side and hit Radar Altimeter and EAC in that order. -Damien
