Really enjoying this mod. However, my friend has this problem where he can chose the plane, but once in the cockpit it’s all blank and nothing works. He has Su33 installed. What might be the problem? Other mods like the Gripen, Grennilli F22, and the A4 work fine.

The unlimited fuel option in multiplayer is not working for me. I have my mission parameters set to enforce unlimited fuel but with the F1 we are running out of fuel. It’s the same dogfight mission I have been running for the past few months and only thing was to add the F1 this morning.

Anyone here using a GTX560Ti for DCS? If so, how does it handle the graphics load, specially down low while flying the Huey or the A10. I have an option to purchase a GTX560Ti at a relatively good price. I currently have a ATI HD 5870 1GB which runs my other sim RoF at maxed out settings without a hiccup, but DCS FPS is horrible. Researching the ED forums, it is a common consensus that DCS favors Nvidia cards over ATI. I know that moving from a ATI 5870 to a Nvidia GTX560Ti is as at best a lateral move, but the price is just right for me. And if it lets me play DCS at acceptable FPS, it will be worth it. My CPU is a AMD Phenom X6 @3.5GHZ and 6 GB of DDR3 RAM.

Well said. I don't game too much except for flight sims, and besides DCS the other one is Rise of Flight which I can run maxed out at 60 FPS with about a dozen or so planes around me along with smoke, fog, explosions on the ground. So it ain't the PC that is the problem. :pilotfly:

After 1.2.5, I lost another 3 FPS in the Huey, down to 14 FPS from 17 FPS at the runway. Before, once leaving the airfield the FPS used to jump to nearly 30, now it stays around 18 FPS, a 12 FPS drop. Nearly unplayable now.

From the updates Wags has posted so far regarding 1.2.5, I haven't seem anything mentioned regarding FPS optimizations. Sort of concerned that this problem is here to stay for a while.

I think it has something to do with runway lights, including PAPI. whenever the lights are in view, the FPS is around 17, look away and the FPS jumps 7~8 points. Does that make any sense?

I can't land either, but the challenge keeps bringing me back. I have done it once, and that gives me hope I will do it again. Either way, it is so much fun trying to control this beast, more so than any button pushing I have done in the A10C.

Doubt it is the rotor view. The FPS is at its worst when looking straight out the front of the cockpit. When I move my head around and look at the overhead panels etc, the FPS jumps by nearly 10, so that is why it is so weird. Also, when the chopper is flying 500 hundred feet or above, the FPS goes up as well to nearly 30 from the 17 I get on the tarmac. Problem is, since it is DCS World, the terrain in Black Shark and Huey should be the same. But the FPS in BS2 is nearly twice as much as I get in the Huey.

I got the Huey last week during the sale and noticed the same thing. The FPS in DCS A10C and Black Shark 2 were in the 35~40 range during missions, but in the Huey it is averaging 17 FPS in the free flight mission. It is still smooth though, not jerky. My specs are as follows: AMD Phenom 1075T 6 cores @ 3GHZ (turbo to 3.5ghz) 6 GB DDR 3 RAM AMD HD 5870 1 GB graphics card with latest CAT drivers. Dell HD 22 inch monitor 1920 x 1080 res @ 60Hz. Windows 7 64 Bit. TrackIR 4 Saitek X52 Pro CH rudder pedals Before, my in game graphics settings were set to default high, and then I turned off heat blur and water to low, MSAA to 2X and TSAA off. Now, I turned down the graphics settings to default medium, but still no change.

Same problem here. Submitted a ticket and waiting for the response. A friend had a similar problem with DCS A10C, and he was given a file to clear the activation codes from the registry. Re-enter the activation codes and it worked. Hopefully, someone can do the same here.
