disregard, I found what was causing it. It was the MSAA. It turns my text into an unreadable mess. I turned that off and turned SSAA on and the text was crisp

I have the same issue but I have tried everything. Textures on high ,FXAA off, etc...still the cockpit text near the buttons is completely unreadable.

I had a long sabbatical with DCS and now have recently gotten back into the game with a new rig, a warthog HOTAS, and looking for some great guys to fly with. I am a 41 year old military veteran and worked on aircraft in the military. I hold a private pilots license and I absolutely love to fly. I am still re-learning this bird but would love the chance to fly with some great guys. Private message me if you are interested in having another member to the squadron.

It would be cool to have an in game voice recognized system where you can even talk to the AI. I know vaicom already does this but it would be cool to implement that into the game itself. Would also be cool to hear the ATC talking to the aircraft....not just allied flight reports but aircraft asking for permission to taxi, takeoff, land, etc...

This is something I would greatly appreciate seeing!! Randomly generated AI for McCarran that would taxi takeoff and land. A few 737's 80s, some 319's or 320's and a few 747s would definitely add to the realism. It can even be scripted based on time of day or something but to see such a major airport and class B airspace empty is kind of bizarre!

Well, I got it to work finally!! Thanks for your help on this!!! One thing though, where do you find the morse code .ogg files in the DCS folder? I tried both locations the saved games location and the eagle dynamics location...I found the sounds folder but couldnt find any for the morse code beeps So i just used a generic JTAC sound file I found in the folder.

on Chiz's weekend update two weeks ago they said they were "hoping to get a patch out next week" which was last week but I guess they are still working on a few things.

I set my freq to 40.5 ( I assigned my infantry a command to transmit on FM 40.5) and Selected "home" on the dial but my CDI doesnt move at all. Is there an issue with this or am I doing something wrong? Is there an additional action other than asking the infantry to transmit?

My FPS stays locked at 60 going down the strip :thumbup:
