  1. This mission is amazing! Thanks for taking the time to put out something so awesome and sharing. I look forward to flying this several times. I am no mission creator/editor. But if you ever need help testing a file, drop me a line.
  2. Hard to learn....no. It just takes patience, time and effort. There are TONS of great resources on this forum and YouTube that I have found. Hard to master....yes. It just takes time and practice. I have owned the sim for just over a month. I can state from personal experience that as long as you put a little effort to finding tutorials and yes, reading the manual some, it will all come along, then just PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE! I love this sim and find myself spending about 3 hours messing around without realizing how fast time is passing. Once you get in, and get past the initial hurdles, it's more addictive than crack. You're gonna love it. Take the plunge and join the community of HOG drivers, you won't regret it.
  3. Right, but what about multiplayer. I don't think time compression works in that environment, or does it? I think my frustration is more out of getting shot down than having to re-align and get going all over again. <Sigh> the growing pains of a rookie right!?!!!
  4. Greetings all, New to forum, very new to the A-10C as well, owned it for about a month. For those that have taken the time to create YouTube tutorials, PDF's, and the like, THANK YOU. I really only have one very minor frustration with the A-10, the alignment process. I completely understand that it is working as designed and there is nothing functionally wrong with it. I just had a random thought however, and I don't know if it has been discussed at all on the boards. Would it be possible to have an option created where it does an instant alignment somewhere in the settings. I know there is an inflight alignment vs. ground, but I was thinking it would be at least a question worth posing. Yes it does deviate from the realism, however I find myself, at least right now while still learning, the victim of a SAM missile at least once or twice a mission. The alignment process adds an additional 4 minutes to getting spooled up. Simply a thought that I think might be work pursuing as a toggle option in the settings menu. Otherwise, this A-10 is AWESOME!!
