ED could have dropped the whole thing, but I think Igor had the feeling to honor the 2553 participants by taking over and fulfilling this project, even if it takes some time. And what prevented ED from adjusting the planned modules? Back then ED and DCS were not as big as they are now and I and certainly many others supported ED by buying modules they never intended to use. Unfortunately Igor went far to early from us and shortly after that was the point where I felt the project was "dropped". I still hear the artist formerly known as Sithspawn saying: "Nick loves the Hellcat" I feel forsaken by ED in this regard.

How would you describe this? Is this not some kind of promise? You can choose the Me262 with " ...not available yet." I think people play DCS not because it is easy, but because it is not easy to handle the modules. So a difficult aircraft is even more interesting for DCS.

Oh yes please. As an axis-allied flyer, I'd love the Meteor(I/III), the Shooting Star(A/C) and Schwalbe in DCS. The Shooting Star, like the Mustang, could even be used for Korean War scenarios.

The SAS got improved a few patches ago. The collective SAS channel was a big contributing factor for the torque dancing. Other than that there is no improvement in the flight model. It still feels like.... ah nevermind.

I don't know if the 14 day trial is available on steam. But, if you have enough disk space, you could download the stand-alone version and do the trial on the Sabre, MiG and the map(s) all at once.

I think the runway lengh could be difficult. Unfortunately I'm away from my gaming machine for another week, so I can't test it. But you can check Normandy or Channel map yourself with the free 14 day trial. Fox

There is only one axis for the wheel brakes. Press this axis and then use the rudders to distribute wheelbrake pressure. It is the same system like in the Spitfire/MiG-15/MiG-21.

How long are you on ground idling? You could post a track, to help finding the problem.

If you keep the engine running at idle during the whole process, plug fouling would be my guess.

Das ist schon seltsam. Hattest du auch nen Neustart gemacht, nachdem du das HMD in nen anderen DP Steckplatz gesteck hattest? Ist schon seltsam, dass nur ein Port davon gehen sollte. Ist schliesslich keine "günstige" GraKa, sondern die TopTier ihrer Generation.

Ich hab ne G1 seit dem Verkaufsstart. USB Probleme mit AMD Boards gabs bei der G2, welche ich auch für ne kurze Zeit besaß. Meine G1 wurde lange von ner 1080ti befeuert. Such lieber nach dem Fehler, bevor du neue Hardware auf Verdacht kaufst(ausser du willst ohnehin updaten). Vielleicht ists die Graka. 100% GPU finde ich nicht problematisch. 100% CPU ist zwar ehr nicht normal, aber ein 4C/4T Prozessor könnte vielleicht mit allerlei Nebenprozessen beschäftigt sein(WMR, Steam VR etc.) Im Taskmanager kann man die Auslastung aller Kerne einzeln anzeigen lassen. Sind dann alle Kerne bei 100% wenn DCS läuft? Lauft DCS in 2D problemlos? Hast du mal nen anderen Displayport deiner GraKa ausprobiert? Oder zumindest das Kabel von der GraKa abgezogen und wieder sauber eingesteckt? Ich würde den Fehler dort vermuten. Kontaktschwierigkeiten bei thermischer Ausdehnung vielleicht, falls DCS in 2D problemlos läuft.

Ich kenn die Mission nicht. Wie stark ist der Wind? Beim Träger auf der Nase? Kann ja auch einfach sein, dass der Mangel an visual cues beim Trager Preusse durcheinander bringen. Leider hat der Apache ja nicht immer nen VSI eingeblendet

In einem echten Hubschrauber mit funktionierendem SAS macht man es natürlich nicht aus und da unterstützt es ja auch. Aber das SAS des DCS Apache ist noch very early und kann schnell zu einer Art PIO/PAO um die Hochachse führen // hab das heutige update noch nicht testen können, vielleicht gibts ja ein nicht im changelog gelistetes update. Edit: Update installiert und kurz geflogen: Ich würd sagen, dass das SAS mit dem heutigen update besser arbeitet.
