I've seen something strange earlier too (a while before the latest patch) - it seems like the inverter isn't working until the engine spools up (you can hear its buzz come on when the engine spools up).
Wow I didn't think this would happen. I guess I should apologize for spreading bad words across the forum then. The dome lights and the APU amm-meter started working recently too. You're back to being the good guys in my book :) I've just bought the Sabre.
Could the battery be drained? Watch the voltmeter/ammeter and see the constraints to check for in the manual posted elsewhere. It's easy to suck the batteries dry after a fews starts if you don't recharge them (rotor RPM high enough and main transformers/rectifiers on or at least start the APU generator)
By the way there is (used to be?) a bug where the APU generator ammeter doesn't work - shows zero current all the time.
I've noticed that playing with the radio switches changes the engine sound. Also looks like changing one of the volume knobs (not sure which one) did as well. Not sure if this is right.
EDIT: I use a 5.1 system, not sure if that makes a difference
Well I broke my arm so I've decided to check if anything changed in the Huey and Mi8 cause I can't fly the mig right now anyway. Turns out it didn't. Will the lighting EVER get implemented in the Mi8 and fixed in the huey ?
Tomcat would be pretty awesome but AFAIK we still don't have anything like virtual copilots/aircraft sharing. I think it was promised with the Huey way back when.
