We decided a while back to give the Spitfire some space and avoid releasing anything new on or around the 16th.
How about a startup video then? :D

When running a Warning Test the audible gear warning should sound, currently it doesn't which is incorrect for the F-5E.
Tested in Open Beta - 1.5.4.55169.134.
-
But that would be... that would be.....
UNREALISTIC!!!!!
Well... That wouldn't be totally unrealistic as current F-5N carry CATM-9M.
-
Huge thanks to everyone on the Belsimtek team. Wonderful module, fun to fly and fight! I absolutely love the external flyby sound.
-
What kind of navigational aids can be used on a Viggen? I know it has the rudimentary INS but anything land-based?
-
Well, I have similar issue but my activation fails, so no more MiG-21 for me today.
EDIT: Had to disconnect from VPN to activate.
-
It happens when I start from ramp, it doesn't roll to the right when starting in the air.
-
Does anyone else have a problem with aircraft rolling to the right in 1.5.4?

Here are the links to both manuals I mentioned in the video:
Manual: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/de/files/1946738/
Weapons Delivery Manual: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/de/files/1946809/
Thanks for the vid. I can't wait for her to come out! One minor thing though, you had a hot start on both engines.
Normally you'd abort a start if the EGT raised above 845°C.

PilotMi8,
Any update on the English manual?
Thanks

Rafal,
This should help:

Again, there's no motion blur in that. I work in video post production house and well aware of the strobe effect.
I guess you didn't check my link.
So here is another:
The movie is a series of still pictures that flash on and off 24 times every second. That's plenty fast enough for your brain to think the motion is continuous because your eyes can't see the separate frames. No finite sampling rate, however, is fast enough to capture the true continuous motion.
The wagon wheels can even appear stationary: Suppose the movie camera snaps a frame and the wheel turns just enough in the 1/24th of a second before the camera snaps the next frame so that the next spoke has rotated into the position of the first spoke. Then the camera snaps another frame. The second frame looks identical to the first frame even though the individual spokes are in different positions because all the spokes look alike and they line up with the first-frame positions. At this wagon speed, the wheel doesn't seem to be turning at all in the movie.
If the wheel turns a little faster than this, the spokes seem to slowly move forward. That's because the second spoke, going a little fast, went by the position of the first spoke by the time the camera snapped the second frame. If the wheel turns a little slower, then the spokes appear to move slowly backwards.
Thus, wagon wheels can appear to move backwards, then forwards as the wagon picks up speed. If the wagon slows down, the wheels can seem to change direction again and go backwards. It all depends on how fast the camera snaps frames relative to the wagon wheel speed.

Actually it's called "Wagon-wheel effect".
Here's a nice link for you: http://www.michaelbach.de/ot/mot_strob/index.html

I second what Rhen said. If it's real life tactic than use it, simple.
Here are just two first google search results I found:

BTW, I don't fly LOMAC online

Why don’t the pilots wear G-suits?
G-suits are designed with air bladders (pockets) that inflate and deflate to keep a pilot’s blood from pooling in the pilots’ legs while executing sharp, unpredicted combat maneuvers. Unlike combat flying, the Blue Angels demonstration pilots know the maneuvers they will fly prior to execution, so each pilot knows when one will be pulling heavy gravitational forces. Anticipating the changes in gravitational forces allows the Blue Angels demonstration pilots to combat the G-forces with muscle contractions. In addition, the Boeing F/A-18’s control stick is mounted between the pilot’s legs. The Blue Angels have a spring tensioned with 35 pounds of pressure installed on the control stick that gives the pilot a “false feel.” This allows the pilot minimal room for uncommanded movement. The pilots rest their right arms on their thighs for support and stability while flying. Therefore, inflating and deflating air bladders in a G-suit would interrupt this support and stability, causing uncommanded aircraft movement. In this case, G-suits would detrimentally impact flight safety.
Why, oh why the movie ends at it's climax

Ice! Thanks! I'll start working on "Spanga" skin.
Poko,
Could you also make both Kadena skins and both Elmendorf skins? I would really appreciate if you could make 'em all
Thanks
-
Great skin Ice!
But could you make skins with realistic tail codes? PACAF that's what I'm most interested in

So...? How's the Eagle doing, Walmis? :pilotfly:

I would say the question is about the timeframe of R-77 entering the service in RAF. And why was Su-27 unable to carry it? If it was unable to carry it.
Dude, RAF doesn't have Su-27

WOW! Very nice model!
I noticed just one thing, there's no AN/ALQ-135B antenna on the nose.
Here's a pic: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1124822/L/
It's right over the nose cone and in front of the canopy
Cheers

Great work Tatti... I just hope you'll find some time to do the Eagle

Well... I am kinda tired of your posts, so here I reply:
Radar range 110 kmIs that nominal radar range or effective tracking range for target of certain RCS?
If it's nominal than early AN/APG-63 radar had the range of 100 nm (185 km) so nothing really exciting :dontgetit:
If it's tracking range than what kind of target does it track at that range?
New AN/APG-63(v)3 radar can track a target of RCS = 1 m² at 144 km.
40~60% stealthWhat do you mean by that? That the plane you are talking about is 40~60% stealth? Wow... Than it's not stealth at all :megalol:
can attack 4 target in the same timeAnother 'wow'... For AN/APG-63(v)3 it's 20 targets...
Ha!Ha!Ha!

Hey Tatti, how's the tank doing? :D
