  1. My favorites would be: 1. Vietnam with Cambodia and Laos (mid 60s to early 70s) 2. Late 80s Germany, maybe with Poland, Denmark and Czech parts 3. Chernobyl 1986, maybe with option to choose pre- and post April 26. Would he great for helicopters
  4. Hi everyone, since the 2.7 open beta patch today, I faced a bug where AAR would sometimes not end so that the AI planes stay connected to the tanker and never seem to rejoin a formation. I have seen this in a mission which I setup myself and it happens to a flight of two Hornets (both AI), where sometimes both planes would never finish, the flight lead however never finished in my testing sessions, not a single time. It also happened to my AI wingman, for whom I could "fix" it by ordering him to rejoin and then go to tanker again. Then he would normally finish refuelling. Strange, however is that I have a second flight of two Hornets for which the refuelling process was totally fine every time. So far I have no ideo what could be the reason. Before 2.7 everything was working fine. Has anyone else noted this? If you need more information, I will of course provide whatever I can. Cheers.
  5. As already said above, the DDIs do run on ground power. After it is connected you must enable the according ground power channels. There are four channels, each enabled with a switch in the front part of the left side panel forward of the throttle. Each channel has a switch with positions A/Auto/B. Basically position B means "everything on". Don't remember by heart which channel powers which systems. There is a sign on the left cockpit wall where the exact mapping is written. Cheers
  6. Hi, well it is sometimes allowed on MP servers to add mark points on the F10 map that other players can view. However, the mission designer can disable the option to do that. Even if these user marks are allowed, there is now way to use them from within the Hornet other than writing down the coordinates and then manually enter them as new WP. Cheers
  7. Hi, the Su-25T is one of the "Flaming Cliffs Type" models in DCS. These do not have a clickable cockpit and the mouse is used for rotating your view instead. As already said in the answer above this one, with LAlt+c you can enable the cursor, which also disables mouse view. The cursor, however, in FC aircraft can not be used for flicking switches etc. Cheers
  8. Ok, thank you. But then there must be another bug, because in the predefined loadouts the missile is called "E".
  9. Hi, In the mission editor after placing the A-10C II, I can use the predefined loadouts that have the new AGM-65E Laser Maverick. However, I cannot select them in the drop down menu, neither for completely new loadouts nor when I try to modify a loadout that already contains it. Additionally, the AGM-65E is not available for rearming with the ground crew in-game. I use the upgrade-version from the A-10C I and have both versions installed in open beta 2.5.6.55743. Thanks :-)
  10. I can confirm that on my machine as well. Have built a very simple test mission on PG map with just my Hornet, an E-2 Awacs and a flight of A-10C so that the SA page has something to draw. SA page itself has little impact here but CM Dispensers (doesn't matter if "on" or "bypass") kills FPS and introduces stutters. Basically unplayable, unfortunately. Have recorded a video of that and will upload it to youtube and link it here once done. CPU: i5 6600 32GB DDR4-3600 GTX 1070Ti (Driver 445.75) DCS on M.2-PCIe-SSD DCS 2.5.5 stable
  11. Fantastic, thank you so much! Being a beginner in DCS editing I guess this would have taken me much longer. Thanks everyone.
  12. Ok, will try that. Didn't know of the model viewer before. Thank you very much :-)
  13. Hello everyone, I'm starting to look into mission editing for the Mi-8. What I would love to do is to use the temperature in the helicopter as a variable either in lua scripts or for a trigger. Since there is a gauge for the air temperature in the helicopter my guess is there should be the possibility. Unfortunately, I can't find anywhere what the cockpit parameter trigger arguments mean. Thank you in advance.
  14. Noticed that too, is true for the Su-25A as well.
  15. Based on your answers, this seems to be a bug and not a wrong setting on my side. Thank you for your fast answers. Then, is this the correct place to report the bug or is there something like a bugtracker? Thanks in advance.
  16. Hi everyone, I just recognized that in version 2.1.1.6837, the object view distance seems to be very low although video options are pretty high. At Creech AFB for example, buildings and objects look like "growing out of the ground" at ranges between 8 and 4 nm, which which is very disturbing when observing locations through the TGP of an A-10C. This does not happen on the Caucasus map. I captured a short movie showing the problem. Hope this is in the correct section of the forum, have never done such thing before. Thanks in advance everyone.:helpsmilie:
  17. I totally agree, the Su-25T and Su-25A as well are fantastic modules and so much fun to fly. Maybe, a fully DCS Level module, if ever coming, should be another module. Especially the T has the potential to get new players into the sim, which is very important imho.
  18. Learning to fly the Mi-8, I'm just running into the same problem. By practicing flight around Elbrus base in Winter, with around 85 percent fuel load and my passenger space filled with soldiers, I can manage to fly without loss of my generators. However, as soon as I land to unload the carried troops, both engines shut down and refuse to restart. Is that part of the same problem? Read about setting engine power, I have no idea, how to do that. Hope you can help another beginner, thanks in advance.
  25. Well, the Russian ATC is wanted and for me it's great, since I love the sound of the Russian language. Well, but that's my personal thaught. As far as I know, in Russia, ATC doesn't necessarily need to be done in English, when not doing international flights. So it is realistic as well. Concerning the lack of the AFM for A-10A, that's a bug in the release and being worked on.
