  1. Firstly thank you for the Caucasus and now the Syria versions of Foothold. Our members are really enjoying the missions. Now running on 2 of our servers.

    Can we adjust the spawn time. There are SA-15's at Bassel Al-Assad that once destroyed re-spawn almost immediately.

    Do we need to destroy the all enemy to stop the re-spawn.

      You need to prevent the supply helicopters landing at the zone. 

      You can either destroy them, which would increase the time until they next respawn, or capture the zones they are spawning from.

      Each supply delivery will either restore the first group that has missing members, or spawn the next group, so you could also attempt destroying units from multiple groups, to prevent the group with the SA-15 being the one that is restored.

       

      That said, you can also adjust the spawn time of the enemy by adding a do script trigger action in the mission editor after all the other scripts are loaded, and pasting the following:
       

      GlobalSettings.setDifficultyScaling(scale,coalition)


      GlobalSettings.setDifficultyScaling(1.4,1) for ex multiplies the default timers by 1.4 for coalition 1 which is red
      GlobalSettings.setDifficultyScaling(0.5,2) would half the respawn times for the blue coaliution

      The default on Syria is already set to 1.4, so put a number above that if you want even slower respawns.

  3. Mission 2 If the helo that is transporting Bounty 1-1 crashes, does the mission need to be restarted to get the convoy to proceed? Or can bounty 1-1 re-spawn? cheers Lol I'll let the AI do it... great mission

  5. Removed LotAtc from one server,now have instant "Time Out" and server crashes
  6. Did the smaller installer update this afternoon. When players join servers crash. plus multiple errors for the file db_sensors.lua cannot be found anywhere. Reported as being in various locations as well c:\dcs world openbeta\bin\lua\db_sensors.lua + the crash files are corrupt (binary) Have done complete cleanup and repair dcs.log-20210416-102349.zip.zip errrorw.lua

  9. I tried various missions today with --norender on and --norender off. When --norender is on. AI Enemy Air does not attack. In fact I flew between two aircraft and was ignored. When --norender was off. The AI aircraft are hostile and attack without mercy. AI Ground forces attack either way...
  10. Is this still an on-going issue? Running servers with the --norender turned off, is putting strain on the servers

  12. True. I restarted all the servers this morning and all servers are online. it affected all my servers. Server 1 at my home, Server/s 2,3,4 at a data center. None of them were available in either in the server list or my profile
  13. Yes they are working, but do not show in server list. My profile shows I have no servers. When I log into my data center the servers are active. Server 1 on box 1 Servers 2,3 & 4 in data center Update: Data Center Servers are timing out getting to ED packets are misdirected and falling into a hole Routing issue
  14. I have 4 OCG Australian servers running. Players are joining via IP as the servers are not showing in my profile or in the main server list. If I shut down all servers and restart them all. Most times the servers all appear.
