  1. @Hardcard Thanks HC! Attached is the miz file CVW-14 TRAINING MISSION 2021 v.1.0 SWAPR min triggers.miz
  2. @Hardcard Hey man! First, thanks for the super sweet mod! My buddies and I are trying to get this script to work but we are having an issue with the static/client planes disappearing after 3 minutes. Wondering if you or anyone else has encountered this problem. Thanks, Spins
  3. Hello, I have the TUSBA with an unmodified F-16 Cougar TQS. Unfortunately, I can't really help. I'm also trying to figure out the best way to model idle detent and also getting the comm switch to work with SRS.
  4. This would be really nice to have. For all aircraft.
  5. Silent One, You have to set the takeoff trim manually (beyond using the TO Trim button). Here are the settings: Below 44,000 gross weight = stab trim 16 degrees (MIL or burners) 45,000 to 48,000 gross weight = stab trim 17 degrees (MIL or burners) 49,000 and above = stab trim 19 degrees (Burners required) This will allow the aircraft to trim to 3 degrees pitch at the end of the stroke IF you achieve the proper end speed. So wind across the deck and whether or not you use burners can make a difference as well. Good luck!
  6. I don't intend to cyber-ly bully anyone, but I need to write this. I was just informed that this kid, Spencer Lever, who has been stealing not just mine but others work... had uploaded my Hornet cockpit to http://www.3dcadbrowser.com/, which is sort of like Turbosquid where people can buy your models. This dude has been pretty brazen in his fascination with my model and converting it for sale or use in DCS (as DCS: F18C), or to be used with online stunt teams and the like. What's more annoying is that he had asked me quite a while to go to help him learn 3D modeling, as all he knew how to do at the time was modify existing models. With that knowledge and knowing that he has a penchant for taking other peoples' material, I did a quick search with his name and the website to see what else he might have "borrowed' from others. If anyone recognizes these models or happens to know the authors, PLEASE let me know so I can get them removed from the site! My work: http://www.3dcadbrowser.com/download.aspx?3dmodel=69074 Uploaded by Spencer Lever at 24 May 2014 into Aircraft - Other 3D Models. Hawker Hunter http://www.3dcadbrowser.com/download.aspx?3dmodel=66123 Uploaded by Spencer Lever at 9 April 2013 into Aircraft - Airplanes - Jet Fighters 3D Models. .44 Magnum Silenced Gun http://www.3dcadbrowser.com/download.aspx?3dmodel=66124 Uploaded by Spencer Lever at 9 April 2013 into Weapons - Pistols 3D Models. He apparently took this guys money to do a mod for DCS, Jim Blim. He apparently tried to sell his work as well: I know he's also stolen a Hawk model, but I can't find any evidence of that anymore (was on his Facebook page). Anywho, there's not a whole lot that can be done to stop him. But I will spread the word to ensure other modelers or potential "customers" don't get burned by him. Also, if you're a modeler, try as best you can to keep tabs on your work (nearly impossible, to be sure). An awesome kid on Facebook informed me of this particular event. Jamal Ingram
  7. I would contribute to crowd funding for this... just saying. 5K isn't that much, and perhaps 10K for materials would be a good limit. Jamal
  8. We are still working. I'm still working on the model. I completed the EOTS turret last week. Pics are on my flickr: Jamal
  9. Meh, never any need to apologize for natural curiosity. :)
  10. I can answer this one. We indeed used the same photo reference. It's a shot of the cockpit from just above the seat headrest, and a couple of shots looking down on the side panels. It's the flattest shot of the instrument panels that I could find, and gives some generally good scale of objects to one another. Since there is no instrument panel diagram I could find, it was my best and only photo reference. I also looked up the CDC-2000J and found some good reference shots of that (and also information on what it is), so I could model the data link female end (not shown) and some other details. I also found some good side interior shots to get some of the depths and bezel parts on the LCD screen itself. Any questions regarding modeling, I'm always happy to answer! Jamal
  11. Rgr that, back in my hole. :)
  12. Hello, I'm the 3D modeler. I had posted earlier a shot of the model in DCS, which Skatezilla had kindly lend his assistance to. He condensed what could have taken me about a month to figure out on my own or through trudging through the forums to a couple hours in a single night. Here's the shot: There's still ALOT for me to figure out, but I just wanted to correct the notion that no other updates had been made. Jamal
