Excellent! There you go, brilliant solution.

I know there's an active issue with CTD if flying above 20K feet in the F1 that has been acknowledged and will be resolved on the next patch. I wonder if your issue has the same cause (and hopefully the same fix).
Thank you very much for the reply, Sknusk. Let's hope it can be fixed.

Right but don't create more code than will tank the sim in VR even further. Maybe when the graphical engine transits to Vulkan this could be added?
Amazing stuff @bandit648, your work is truly appreciated.
Not all of us are able to fly or can afford to fly with VR. Not to be combative in any way, just trying to state that there should be a happy medium to cater to all, and this sim desperately needs work on wind/turbulence simulation.

We fly in smooth conditions all the time, every single flight, not a bump in the sky, not a bump when entering a cumulus cloud, no turbulence whatsoever, no mountain turbulence either. Are there any real pilot in EDs team? This needs change, even other simulators that are more simple than DCS has some sort of turbulence.
One of the best comments.

This is an initial reach out to the community regarding the Mirage F1BE crashing when crewed by a student and an instructor in multiplayer.
Flying the Caucasus map. All other multicrew aircraft are performing flawlessly: F-4, F-14, C-101.
The Mirage F1BE is causing a solid DCS freeze for both parties flying the aircraft. Has anyone else experienced this?
The freeze seems to occur at altitudes above 8000ft barometric.
At the moment, I am trying to figure out if it is a local issue (I do use a minimum of mods - CH - in the mission) or if there is a recognized problem with the BE being multicrewed in MP.
Note: Both parties flying the aircraft are new on type; the pilot is using autostart, then the instructor jumps in when autostart is completed.
Any responses would be gratefully received.

Great pictures! What's up with the one that has the Canadian markings?
Thank you, FupDuck. The Bucc in question had obviously, at some point, paid a visit to CFB Goosebay or somewhere in Canada and had been "Zapped" with the Maple Leaf. "Zapping" was a common occurrence back in the day.
"Zapping" an aircraft was the practice of applying custom stickers, badges, or paint to military aircraft as a form of friendly rivalry and humour to boost morale. "Zaps" were often placed in clever or hard-to-find spots on an opposing squadron's or air force's aircraft, or on ground equipment, during an exercise or detachment, and served as a sign of camaraderie and creative competition within the NATO armed forces. I have no idea if it still goes on.

I forgot to include one important helo in my AI Assets suggestions post... Aerospatial SA330 Puma, British, French, Portuguese, Argentinian, and perhaps civil variants. So overlooked and underrated, a superb workhorse of a helicopter. It would be wonderful to see her in DCS as an AI asset.

To recreate Rolling Thunder accurately, make sure you have the F-105D Thunderchief (Thud) in your mods, and be sure to lose a lot of them

The Bodo ILS misalignments are reported internally.
Hey Flappie, is there any fix planned for this ILS issue? It has been some time since the error was originally reported, and it remains present on the map.
Edit: Looking for an alternative to Bodo due to gubbed ILS, I noticed Andoya's RWY14 ILS is missing... Alta's ILS for RWY's 11 & 29 are gubbed/missing.
This is kinda concerning, ED/Orbyx. The map has been available for a while now, and these are likely minor fixes.

I have always wondered, quietly to myself, how ED knows if the model is high fidelity or not?
If ED already has all the information to benchmark a potential model by, why doesn't ED itself hire a shedload of creators and release every aircraft known to man?
Unless I am acting extremely naive, which I do admit to being from time to time... I sit and await an education.

Are there any plans to make an "SA-4 Krug" or some more Cold War SAM's?
I think it would be very interesting for Cold War Germany and would complete the russian Sam system, that we missing in the game, but ye love the work and thy for polishing DCS Ground modules that are old it was needed.I think the AI creators would do all of us a great turn by creating some dedicated Cold War "packs" for the major NATO and Warsaw Pact countries.

Awesome, is the ZSU-23-4 the version of the shilka that also has 4 manpads strapped on the back of the turret?
I think you may be thinking of the 2K22 Tunguska.

Hi all, to my knowledge the only airshow objects mod for DCS was the GrinnelliDesigns Air Show Scenery ( https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3302379/ )
It appears this mod no longer works in DCS. Is there any talented mod makers out there that would be keen on creating something similar? Or perhaps there's an alternative mod I hadn't heard of before? Certainly can't find anything on the DCS user files
I have recently installed it and it appears to be working on the latest patch...

KS-19 100mm not firing.
在 Mission Editor
发布于 · 本帖最后于,由Tengah编辑
Hello to all,
I'm having a problem with an early morning mission (April, 0440, first light, so quite dark) on the Germany map.
Have placed KS-19 100mm units together with S-60 57mm linked by SON-9 and MCC units. When testing the mission by having an F-16 fly through the area of the guns, the 57mm guns commence firing, but the 100mm guns track but do not engage. Have posted an image of the mission editor. I was wondering if some of you mission design experts could take a look and possibly direct me to where I am going wrong?
Many thanks in advance.
