    I am also having freezing issues with the latest patch. I have a decent build, not great compared to many here, but it is a new purchase and DCS wasa positively "flying" (pun intended) until today (21st March 2025) when I ran the DCS update: Intel i9 12900KF • RTX 4060 • 32GB 3200Mhz • 1TB NVMe • MSI 240mm Liquid Cooler • MSI M100R Mesh White • WiFi • Windows 11 I am using a Samsung Wide Screen Monitor, 32inch at 2560x1080 screen rez. I have tried removing ALL mods (I only use the CH Mods, and a few of Admirals Ships) to no avail, DCS continues to freeze. If I alt tab to desktop then back to DCS it will run fine for a minute or so then freezes again. Edit: I am using Lasso, and have tried with and without. DCS MT and normal DCS, to no avail.

    Dave B Waldrop - F-105 Interview. In my opinion, the fact that this aircraft has not been the subject of an official DCS Module is nothing short of criminal.

    Have you flown any of the available two seat aircraft with a human component in the back seat? If not, then your statement is moot, and you really should give it a go. If you have and your experience was poor, then you need to work with your backseater more.

    Hello, I feel this is somewhat related. The latest patch (2.9.6) was installed and ran ok, until last night when DCS ran unplayably slow. After several PC reboots, DCS now stops loading on the SIM POST START when beginning a mission and this error occurs (please see attached screenshot): Validation was run, and all checked out ok. As per previous posters, I removed all Mods but unfortunately, the problem persists. Unfortunately, I am not PC knowledgeable enough and do not know how to provide the Logs, etc. The DCS folders are exempt from Windows Defender, etc. Any help would be gratefully received.

    Thank you for your comments there. I hadn't given it a thought about AEW not having a place in the helicopter side of ME. Makes absolute sense. I agree with everyone else who says this should be a "thing" in DCS... ED?

    I am so surprised no developer has picked up the SEPECAT Jaguar yet. Such a versatile aircraft that was in service with so many nations ' air forces.

    Ah, that is a shame regarding the AEW variant, that would have been an amazing addition to DCS.

    2024, please, please can we have a fix for this wind TO/FROM issue, also can we get some form of calculating airspeeds TAS/KIAS/GS/MACH (especially for the AI), etc, in the ME as it would make life much easier?

    There is another Mod conflicting with it, do you have an older CH mod in there somewhere? I had this very same problem until I found an obscure older CH mod in the tech folder.

    Hello, Just a quick obscure question for anyone who reads this that may be able to answer: At idle power, ground level, without considering any current weather/air density/temperature, etc, can anyone give an educated guess or estimate regarding the fuel burn rate (llb per minute preferably) of a P&W F-135 as opposed to the P&W-229 and GE F-414? I am an old timer and a font of all knowledge on the more antiquated turbofans of the RB199 and RR Spey 101 variety, however, I am severely lacking regarding these later engines. Many thanks in advance for any replies.

    The HMS Endurance I was referring to was the 1967 version that served until 1991. She was a beautiful ship, with very clean lines. The ship CrazyEddie is showing was her replacement, thank you for posting that picture CrazyE, I had heard and read about the replacement but had not seen a photo of her before now. HMS Endurance frequented the waters of the South Atlantic and served with absolute distinction during the 1982 SA conflict, hence I thought it would be perfect for the SA map.
