I'am sure some one has already asked this, will DCS make modules such as the F-16 or the F-18 . I know you can fly the F-15 in Lockon 3 but I my self would like to see them make the F-16 or F-18 the way the did the A-10C that would be bad ass.

Way to go guys : great job on the new Update 1.2.6. its fixed a lot of things and added some new. Now when I end a mission you can look at your kills vers. the squads, plus it keeps your logbook up to date. No more mouse problems when trying to flip a switch after lounch, witch made it go back to windows and then you had to LT click the left task bar to go back to the flight. So far every thing looks great and runs great plus on the P-51 you added high speed sutter in tight turns and stall sutter nice, sound track seams improved as well. Thanks DCS & Eagle :thumbup:

:megalol:Here's one for ya I setup a mission cold start on the ramp and a wingman, it was P-51 vs Rus. P-51 and some ground targets. Shot down the P-51 and ground units and headed back to base, Nice landing taxied to the ramp and shut-down. Heard my wingman getting closer as I turned to see where he was " BAM " he had crossed the field and ran into me ( no taxiway ) must of pissed him off. Checked my logbook and yes it gave me the air kill but my wingman got a kill to -Me- .

Yea I can't wait to see what 1.2.6. does we might haft to uninstall every thing and start over. I wish they would show us what's in the up-date,that way if we don't need it we could decline it. If it looks great and runs great you just want to leave it alone. Don't get me wrong DCS is by far the best flight sim out there...

It might but what I meant was to start any mission or campain in the air. Like if you build a mission and instead of starting the mission on the ramp where you haft to start the engine and then take off I would not get the kills in my log-book. But if I start the mission in the air I would get the kills, ( In my log-book) Ya I know ? but it worked for me...

I found that if you start a mission in the air you will get the kill in your logbook. If you start on the ramp and do the start-up you don't get the kill, don't know why that is... They need to make a patch to fix this patch, don't you think..

Any module and any flight. Such as Quick start missions/ Campain missions/ or the traning missions.

:doh:The update for 1.2.5 DCS world now has bugs, (1) when lounching the flight I setup it well go to windows and says DCS world "Not responding" but after a few seconds it does start ? (2) If I start the flight at the ramp for start-up I will not get the air kills, nor the sea kills but I do get the ground kills ? in the log book (3) As you begain the start-up the mouse pointer is not responding, meaning as you try to turn on a switch it well stop go back to windows and then you need to click the Lt. lower task bar to go back to DCS world and now the mouse well respond as it once did. Some Up-dates can do more harm than good..

I uninstalled every thing and started over with the P-51 witch adds DCS world and then let it update to the 1.2.5 ver. then down loaded the A-10C module version. Now every thing will go into DCS world and yes it looks great runs smooth, plus I got the Huey man thats fun to fly. Thanks guys:pilotfly:

All is good, took it out and reinstalled it..

When I set up the log book I did not see any Fighter squads for the P-51.

After the 1.2.5 update and then one other update downloaded the log book would not track my kills. I started a new player and set it up, thought that might do the trick but still no dice. Is there something I could do or should I just Uninstall and start over. This is for the DCS P-51 mustang..:book:

Whitch one should I download : FTP mirror#4 (USA) or HTTP mirror #4 (USA) It to me should be the FTP file.

Yea I'am with you on that because this is a DCS box version of A-10C Warthog. -PV- you said it would cost me nothing to change and how do I do this, and to me when it says DCS box version they should all be the same. In the past I found by getting the box version it was a better instal and you would always have it, plus if there was an update it would.

Mine must be the stand alone box version, But again it does look great so I think I'II just run with it. I also got the Black Shark and did see you could buy the Black shark 2 and it says that you must have Black Shark for it to work. Also the A-10C version I have does have multi-player, there may be a A-10C 2 later on that I could buy will see.

Yea I belive it is the stand alone version because it has its own desktop Icon quick launch, and with the P-51 mustang its in DCS World Quick launch. Now I installed the A-10 yesterday and today when I launched the DCS world to fly the P-51 there was an update I mean a big one, I belive it was 1.2.5 for DCS world. So what your saying is I need to update to the patch 1.1.1.1 or just leave it alone it does work fine and looks good. The A-10C is a Box version ,,,

I just installed the A-10C Warthog but have not seen any updater Like I did when I installed the P-51 Mustang. With the mustang every time it starts the auto updater checks for a new update,but with the A-10C I don't think it does. I did see a new patch 1.1.1.1 but was that patch already installed after set up was complet dont know. :helpsmilie:

New to DCS I just put in DCS P-51 and I like the way everything looks and works, had to get used to the way it handles and all but you get better in time. About DCS world should I instal that or did it already come with the P-51 box ver. Also I'd like to get the F-16 and the F-18. I got two with the P-51 so I thought these might come with A-10 or the Black Shark it dose not say.
