  1. I solved the issue by deleting my entire saved games folder.
  2. I do not have that folder. Why would it only crash on the MT client and work fine on the normal client if this was a headset problem?
  3. I'm crashing when the the game tries to render the main menu for VR. I have tried the slow repair option and deleted my metashader2 and fxo. It was working earlier today so this is really a stumper for me. dcs.20240208-024435.crash dcs.20240208-024435.dmp dcs.20240208-024435.log
  4. Hello, my game is crashing at random times while on multiplayer. I'm not doing anything intensive when it crashes. The game simply stops, then windows pops up and says DCS has crashed, and then it closes. I have an I7 processor, 16GB of ram, and a GTX 970. When I click show more information windows says something about wer in tmp. I didn't take a screenshot or copy it down sadly. I do however have the log files. Here are the last 50 or so lines of the log. 00053.777 ERROR SOUND: can't load wave: "effects\aircrafts\mi-8mtv2\cockpit\pump2_end" 00053.777 ERROR SOUND: can't load wave: "effects\aircrafts\mi-8mtv2\cockpit\pump1_end" 00067.708 ERROR SOUND: can't load wave: "effects\aircrafts\engines\db605\exhauststart" 00067.785 ERROR wInfo: negative weight of payload "{Matra155RocketPod}" 00068.016 ERROR Lua::Config: Call error Sounder_create:Can't find sounder Aircraft/Planes/M-2000C. 00069.384 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "mi_8_tex_spec" not found 00115.452 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "c-101-numeral-jordan" not found 00127.541 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "c-101-aviojet-fuse-pylon" not found 00129.096 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "c-101-aviojet-fuse-pylon-spec" not found 00141.154 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "c-101-cortina" not found 00141.392 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "oliver perry hull bump" not found 00141.395 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "oliver perry hull specular" not found 00142.731 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "f-16-cocp-glass" not found 00142.745 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "kols" not found 00144.481 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "m2kc_1t_damage1" not found 00144.488 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "m2kc_1t_damage1_map" not found 00158.068 INFO COCKPITBASE: lua state still active VHF_RADIO, 15 00158.068 INFO COCKPITBASE: lua state still active INTERCOM, 19 (status undefined) 00158.069 INFO COCKPITBASE: lua state still active MACROS, 25 (status undefined) 00158.070 ERROR SOUND: source_add(host:COCKPIT_MAIN, proto:Aircrafts/FW-190D9/Cockpit/PlaneWindInL, alt_proto:Aircrafts//Cockpit/PlaneWindInL): can't find proto 00158.070 ERROR SOUND: source_add(host:COCKPIT_MAIN, proto:Aircrafts/FW-190D9/Cockpit/PlaneWindInR, alt_proto:Aircrafts//Cockpit/PlaneWindInR): can't find proto 00158.075 INFO DCS: dbox failed Initialize -7 00174.842 WARNING WEATHER: Visual cloud not deteted 00426.658 WARNING LOG: 17 duplicate message(s) skipped. 00426.658 ERROR Lua::Config: Call error Sounder_create:Can't find sounder Aircraft/Planes/M-2000C. 00453.190 ERROR GRAPHICSVISTA: Can't open model p51-oblomok_nose. 00456.942 WARNING WEATHER: Visual cloud not deteted 00644.042 WARNING LOG: 6 duplicate message(s) skipped. 00644.042 INFO DCS: CargoManager::setChoosingCargo :16777729 00660.677 WARNING WEATHER: Visual cloud not deteted 00799.322 WARNING LOG: 14 duplicate message(s) skipped. 00799.322 ERROR Lua::Config: Call error Sounder_create:Can't find sounder Aircraft/Planes/M-2000C. 00803.104 ERROR GRAPHICSVISTA: Can't open model p51-oblomok_nose. 00824.729 WARNING WEATHER: Visual cloud not deteted 00857.695 WARNING LOG: 1 duplicate message(s) skipped. 00857.695 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "ka-50-paint1-def-01.bmp" not found 00857.696 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "ka-50-paint1-def-03.bmp" not found 00857.699 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "ka-50-paint1-def-02.bmp" not found 00857.732 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "ka-50-paint1-def-06.bmp" not found 00857.754 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "ka-50-paint1-def-05.bmp" not found 00857.755 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "ka-50_st_paint1.bmp" not found 00857.766 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "ka-50-lrm-1.bmp" not found 00857.777 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "ka-50-paint1-def-04.bmp" not found 00857.859 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "ka-50-lrm_b.bmp" not found 00857.860 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "ka-50-lrm_centre.bmp" not found 00857.888 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "ka-50-lrmpart-1.bmp" not found 00857.937 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "KA-50-PAINT1-DEF-02.bmp" not found 00857.940 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "KA-50-PAINT1-DEF-01.bmp" not found 00857.961 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "KA-50-PAINT1-DEF-03.bmp" not found 00857.964 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "KA-50-PAINT1-DEF-06.bmp" not found 00857.965 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "KA-50-PAINT1-DEF-04.bmp" not found 00857.982 ERROR DX11BACKEND: texture "KA-50-PAINT1-DEF-05.bmp" not found 00865.800 WARNING WEATHER: Visual cloud not deteted 01020.332 WARNING LOG: 6 duplicate message(s) skipped. 01020.332 INFO DCS: cancelChoosingCargo:16787975 dcs.zip
  5. I voted No. I would so much rather an F-8, F-100, F-105, F-4... you get the point. Aircraft don't have to be brand new by all means to be interesting, but we have SO many trainers and more coming that it's getting silly. As for aircraft that many people haven't heard of, it's great that you are giving them a voice, but the popular "overdone" aircraft really really need a voice in DCS.
  6. Signed up for 2v2 with my friend Skydiver14 and the 1v1 myself
  7. I have a way of getting around this as of now. Once you hit your desired speed, turn nosecone control to manual and set the nosecone to be 1 or 2 less notches than it was in auto, then reduce power to the lowest burner setting. It takes 30 seconds to a minute to set up but once you get it dialed in you can cruise at mach 2 across the entire map.
  8. Blueflag registration Lonewolf for two people: Schweehog Skydiver14 F-86, MiG-21, F-15, UH-1H, Ka-50 Not sure on which aircraft/s we would settle on until we can see how each one is in the mission.
  9. When using the rocket pods it seems when they fire is pretty random. If you hold down the button it will fire 4 rockets, then there will be a cool down before you can fire more. If you tap the button to just fire one it doesn't fire any. If you quickly hold the button it will fire one, and you will be able to do this again, but then there is another cool down. Do you have any insight on this seemingly random behavior on the rocket pods? Should I be setting anything in my cockpit? Thanks and I understand if these problems are simply because it is a mod.
  10. Thanks for the very in depth explanation, I tried to sum it up as quickly as I could on my phone figuring someone would go more in depth :P
  11. Alright so what you are thinking of are not called wingtip vortices. See the clouds coming off of the wingtip of the f 18? Those are wingtip vortices. They are already in and appear at high g loads. Second the f 18 isn't experiencing the condensation caused by near mach 1 speeds either, those clouds are also because of high g loading.
  12. DxtBMP required, and an image editing program capable of editing .dds files such as photoshop or gimp and the knowledge on how to use these programs. 1.) Find your default F-86 skin at CoreMods/aircraft/F-86/Textures/f-86f.zip and make a backup of it somwhere 2.) Unzip the file to a separate location 3.) Take the skin you want, and look inside that skin folder for the files that are not .dds files, usually jpg and look at the name of those files. (Not description.lua or readmes or pictures of the a/c) There should be corresponding names in the unzipped folder but in the folder you unzipped they are .dds files. If one of the files is named after the skin, and it looks like a whole bunch of painted parts laid out it is probably 'F-86F_main_DIF.dds' that you are looking for in folder you unzipped 4.) Open the .dds files in the unzipped folder that correspond to the names of downloaded skin files that are not .dds format in DxtBMP (You don't need to do this with the .dds files in the downloaded skin folder) 5.) Send the file to the editor 6.) Take the non-.dds corresponding file from the downloaded skin folder that you are trying to use and lay it over the .dds picture 7.) Save the picture in your editor, then reload after edit in DxtBMP, then save it 8.) Repeat for any other files in the downloaded skin folder that are not .dds format 9.) Now that all of the non .dds files have been saved over the corresponding .dds', take the other .dds files from the downloaded skin folder and replace the ones in the unzipped folder 10.) Zip up all the files and rename it to what it was (f-86f.zip) and replace the preexisting zip file in your CoreMods/aircraft/F-86/Textures/ folder, or use JSGME if you know how Default skin before: http://i.imgur.com/7HYpxd5.jpg Default skin after: http://i.imgur.com/UOH8RJT.jpg
  13. Been having this problem too. Hope there is a fix. EDIT: I found somewhat of a fix, exit the slider in the gui so that it has 0-40% and 60-100% with the keys * and /. The slider will press the zoom in and out keys as soon as you release it from the center position, which is better than what it would be if it was just a flat axis imo.
  14. Really cool of you to do a contest like this. I hope you get something cool for XMAS :D GL Everyone!
  15. Can you explain how you go about doing manual mode?
  16. About the head moving thing, if you go into options, special, F-86, and disable landing seat adjustment it will stop you from moving up and down, and will keep it in the same spot. To answer your question, that switch changes the rockets from being automatically fired, to being able to be manually fired. If you flip the switch, you will notice that you will be able to fire the rockets in the same way you can fire the guns; recklessly. No matter if you are on the tarmac, or spinning out, if you switch to rockets and hit the weapons release you will be able to release rockets. Question: I still have yet to figure out how to fire one rocket at a time besides quickly tapping the fire key. No matter what I do if I hold down the key it fires all of them in a quick salvo. I would like to be able to maybe fire them in pairs, or at least one at a time without having to worry about accidentally holding down the switch for a half second too long and saying goodbye to all my rockets.
  17. Tired of your view being permanently shifted up while on the ground? Go into options, special, then click on the F-86, and uncheck "Landing seat adjustment". I know with trackir that it is frustrating to say the least.
  18. Scroll down on this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=127487 You need the radio to be preset in the mission editor.

You forgot Gudauta :P Jpeg image of the frequencies: http://i.imgur.com/TxigiBw.jpg PDF of the frequencies: http://www.mediafire.com/download/rc4y5d0u2de9gjx/Sabre+Frequencies.pdf BMP of the frequencies for kneeboard: http://www.mediafire.com/view/bo0d5dv50theesk/Airfield%20Diagrams-3.bmp (I just edited the existing PDF by Shu77 that can be found here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=60370 to have the sabre frequencies over the A-10C frequencies. I am in no way saying that the original PDF is mine, or made by me. If the owner of the PDF has a problem with me editing it I will gladly take it down.)
