Anyone know the key combination, resting state or whatever it takes to have the engine intake and exhaust covers to appear on the Hornet? When I start the game, I can never load the F 15C or Cy 27. Do I have to buy something for these planes? Aldo any way I can get my pilot to leave the cockpit and stand next to the plane (short of him ejecting ;))?

I loaded the new update and trying to load the game, it hangs up at the start. I know I need to post crah loggs. Can anyone walk me through the steps to do that?

Quick question for anyone. In the radar directed gunsight mode, is the horizontal line that indicates maneuver potential of the target get bigger the more potential the target has to elude you and is the line oriented perpendicular to the direction the target might turn away from you in? If I have it wrong, how does the maneuver potential graphic work?

I have a thrustmaster Warthog and am using it in DCS F/A 18. When I use the view hat to slew the HMD I get really jerky responses and wanted to set the response to the control input a little lower. I downloaded the Thrustmaster Target software and got nowhere. Anyone know how or wkere I can access the joystick response curves and have any suggestions as to how I might get a little more smooth response from the HMD?

I am not able to launch a harm even with target on RWR. I am in AG mode, safety off harm selected RWR on and target seen but harm is crossed out on stores page. I have gone through 2 tutorials set by step. Any thoughts on what I might not be doing right?:(

Anybody know of a good HOTAS profile for the FA 18?

I bought the FA18C and the only FA 18 I can fly is the Lot 20, i can only load free fall bombs and the AIM 9 and AIM 7. Also I start mission editor designed missions from the runway and no matter where my HOTAS throttle is set, I immediately go to an un-commanded full power and turn to the right on the ground. Then I crash. Any thoughts?

Thanks! also have a thread going with Andre Filin at DCS support who advised that I uninstall DCS 1.5. Now the game loads but takes ages. It runs for a few seconds then freezes. Yeah, I hope they patch it. Does not seem much better than 1.5. Any theory as to why they can't bring back Sevastopol. That was amazing scenery from the Lockon Era.

One day, open alpha just stopped loading and working, never was able to see the Normandy Terrain or WW2 objects. When I loaded the mission editor, the terrain would only partially load then freeze. Now, 2.5 is doing the same thing, after about 10 min the Caucuses did load once, looked beautiful except some noise and crashed in about a minute. I re-partitioned my C drive one time in my ASUS gamer laptop to get more space before I realized that my larger D drive wasn't working. I replaced the D drive and installed 2.5 on it. 1.5 is still installed on C. I also had 1.5 open Beta on C, I tried to delete 1.5 open Beta but it is still on there. I can run it through it's EXE file and it has a newer looking terrain map on the TAD. Any suggestions?

I bought the Mig 21 and it worked great until this business with the key no longer being valid? How do get my Mig 21 active again? I messaged the com[any that was in the pop-up notice I got signing on but no answer.

A few months ago I got a message on start-up that my Mig 21 product key was no longer valid. There was a response dialog box to email the developers which I have done several times with no response. I have seen a few posts wondering where the Mig 21 forum went which I am wondering as well. Any suggestion on who I can call to get my Mig 21 back?

I thought Crimea was well modeled in Lockon nd would love to see it available. Can anyone at Eagle or DCS shed some light on why it is not available?

In Lockon Crimea was very nicely modeled. Why can't we get that for DCS?
