  1. This solution might fix your problem. Like my latest post in this thread I am downloading the update to 1.2.5 so I can't be positive it still works. But it is what forum user Redkite got to work, and so far it is looking good on my end. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1818807#post1818807
  2. I also just got a track ir 5, I was looking forward to getting another module. Oh well, atleast it is an Unlimited Time offer so I don't have to worry about it expiring...
  3. I still have the 1.2.4.12913 torrent so I will give this a try and post back with my results. Edit: After step 4 I: Launched DCSW Didn't update Went to module manager and a pop up window prompted me to download A-10C (first time that has happened) After A-10C downloaded and DCSW main screen loaded back up I went to multiplayer It asked to activate Warthog 64bit. I put in Steam CD-Key Automatic activation failed twice clicked activate by other means (proactive.star-force.com/2.0/activate.php) Once I got my activation key I was prompted at the multplayer screen to log into my account Logged in Exited multiplayer I checked module manager and A-10C is listed with serial number. Success!!! It looks like the key factor here is launching the multiplayer component of the Steam version of A-10C and logging into your DCS online account and then proceeding to transfer it to DCSW. Mods should make mention of that instead of just telling people to run the steam version. I'm currently updating to 1.2.5 which will take the rest of the night, but so far so good. If the update screws it up I'll post back here. Thanks Redkite and everyone who tried to help! Now I just need to work on configuring my X52Pro. :joystick::huh:
  4. Slightly relieved to see others are having the exact same problem. I also edited my OP with my support ticket number. On the Kerbal Space Program website the developers will write blogs if something that is affecting a lot of people comes up, as well as they release a weekly newsletter to keep in touch with the community. Is there anything like this for DCS?
  5. Hello, I haven't changed any hardware. I just bought the game and have yet to even play it because of these errors. I have tried running the registry file fixes found at this link and that puts me back to my original error saying my serial number is not correct.
  6. Ok, downloaded the 1.2.5 update and was having the same problems. So I downloaded the Steam version, and ran it as per my ticket suggestion and that ran its automatic activation. Now when I try to run the DCS World version the CD-Key for A-10C is automatically placed in the Activation window, however I am receiving a new error.
  7. I'm currently downloading the 1.2.5 update which will take some time due to slow internet. But I wanted to reply so you didn't think I abandoned this thread. I have only downloaded DCS World, the Su-25T Training missions, and the A-10C module. Since I'm updating I'm unable to get the exact error message (will post back with that when I can). I also opened a support ticket and the advice I got was to try running the Steam version first, which I was hoping to avoid because of the aforementioned slow internet. Lol. And thank you for the information about the separate installer. Ok, my update stopped responding halfway through so I canceled it and was able to get a couple screen grabs. I think I've pieced together that I need a serial number, but I don't know how to get that from the Steam version. I only know how to get the CD-Key. Which I have tried to put in place of the serial number on the first image, and I get the error seen in the second image.
  8. Edit 2: If you are having this same problem, these steps should solve it for you. Here is just a little more information on my experience using RedKite's fix. Edit: As of today I haven't heard anything from support for a week. Reading about some people going months with unresolved issues is making me nervous. My ticket number is 23810 btw. I hope something is being done about this, looking through the forums I see I am not the only one having this problem so I am assuming this is not just going to get swept under the rug. Original: Ok, I am having trouble with my activation for A-10C. I have downloaded DCS World 1.2.4 (5.73 Gb). (Also from inside DCSW I downloaded the Su-25T training missions) I then downloaded the A-10C Warthog 1.2.4 module from the website (1.05 Gb). I then purchased A-10C from Steam. I didn't download it on Steam but instead immediately copied the CD-Key and launched DCS World. I then went to module manager, and clicked on install for the A-10C and it then downloaded 2 updates, one that was I think 1.6 Mb, and the other was around 320 Mb. Now when I click on training, or any of the A-10C missions it brings up the activation box. When I paste the CD-Key into the box it says its an invalid serial number, and when I click on the link at the bottom of the text box that says, I already have an Activation Key it tells me to enter a valid serial number. Where do I find the serial number from the Steam version, as it is obviously not the same thing as the CD-Key. Please help. Also, do I need that 1.05 Gb A-10C file, or was that 320Mb update actually the A-10C module for DCSW? Thank you!
