  1. I have not noticed this problem with my G940 and the A10C II, maybe try a DCS repair? or make sure you haven't got centre spring emulation turned on in the Logitech Software?. Edit, Oh I know what your problem is, you need to put a peice of tape over the hand sensor, it is the first thing I did 10 years ago and had forgotten about it. It is a safety device so all force feedback movement it disabled when your hand is not on the stick, but it is annoying. just cover it with some tape, preferably black. SimFFB might help you out but I only ever used that for flying the KA-50 BlackShark. Also if you haven't already you should really install fred41's unofficial firmware patch for the G940. It make the HOTAS so much better, especially the throttle when trying to A2A refuel!
  2. Why would the engineers have even needed to add the water injection system if it could land without water? Ever thought of that?
  3. That sounds like the processor is the bottleneck then, you might be able to bump up your graphics settings without losing any FPS if your GPU is not at 100% but DCS VR does hurt performance more than almost anything so who knows!
  4. Very cool, The F-15E is going to be awesome, at over 1800 MPH is so much faster than the Hornet and with double the fuel capacity. keeps up the good work.
  5. Do you get a solid 90FPS on Quest2 with those settings on a RTX3080? because if you where running flat screen you would be getting 200+ FPS I'm sure.
  6. Have you checked your Resolution settings in SteamVR? Are you using Oculus link with a cable or Virtual desktop wireless though Steam VR? I don't have the Steam Version so not sure how the VR Stack works, maybe try downloading the Stand alone version instead???
  7. No worries, these things happen , glad you got it fixed. I got the export working in the end with version 1.0.6. Well my model is still mostly stuck in the ground (I was hoping the Collison mesh would fix that!) maybe I just have to move some coordinates around somewhere???
  8. We I try to add a simple cube "ShellNode"/Collision Mesh I get this error: Armature Bottom Cube Top Python: Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.92\scripts\addons\io_BlenderEdmExporter\__init__.py", line 51, in execute edmmodel=createEDMModel() File "C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.92\scripts\addons\io_BlenderEdmExporter\edmexporter.py", line 1547, in createEDMModel r=ShellNode(c) File "C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.92\scripts\addons\io_BlenderEdmExporter\edmexporter.py", line 1167, in __init__ verts, tris=createMesh(mesh,True,False) File "C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.92\scripts\addons\io_BlenderEdmExporter\edmexporter.py", line 962, in createMesh tri=addTriSimple([loop[0],loop[1],loop[2]],False) TypeError: addTriSimple() takes 1 positional argument but 2 were given location: <unknown location>:-1 Seems to be another problem with my triangles, I have no idea what I am doing wrong Edit: ahh I hadn't "triangulated" the cube vertices, In edit mode press ctrl+t , if anyone has the same issue. Edit 2: ARRHH thought I had fixed it but it was just compliaing about UV Maps Armature Bottom Cube Python: Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.92\scripts\addons\io_BlenderEdmExporter\__init__.py", line 50, in execute prepareObjects() File "C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.92\scripts\addons\io_BlenderEdmExporter\edmexporter.py", line 1773, in prepareObjects uv=mathutils.Vector([uv_layer[loop_index].uv[0],1.0-uv_layer[loop_index].uv[1]]) #uv IndexError: bpy_prop_collection[index]: index 0 out of range, size 0 location: <unknown location>:-1 Now it is back to complianig about tri again File "C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.92\scripts\addons\io_BlenderEdmExporter\edmexporter.py", line 962, in createMesh tri=addTriSimple([loop[0],loop[1],loop[2]],False) TypeError: addTriSimple() takes 1 positional argument but 2 were given This is impossible!!!! Edit3: This looks like it is a know bug https://github.com/tobi-be/BlenderEdmExporter/issues/18 I will update, why didn't I check the GitHub bugs list hours ago!
  9. Yes! , I had to figure this out the hard way (multiple what I thought were perfect traps) and some Googling!! T-45 Seems a bit easier to land than the Hornet
  10. I can put some files in \Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\aircraft\ and it changes them in the game. but if I try to say mod the texture on a old aircraft by using: \Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Bazar\World\textures\WorldTexturesBMP1.zip then it doesn't seem to work for me. Are there restrictions on which folder can be modified with though the saved games file area? or am I just doing something Wrong?
  11. So this is a separate SU-24 mod to Morkva_55's mod? why don't you try to pool your resources? These Mods look sweet! I hate the SU-24M 3D model that is currently in the SIM, it is about 20 years old. Are they still being worked on at all? I know how hard it is to make DCS Mods because I have created a few in the past and they seem to break with every major update to the game! Hopefully we could get a Beta release of this, this year?
  12. This is looking really sweet! I Only came across this while trying to find better skins/model for the super ugly Ai Su-17M4 that we have had in DCS for 18 years!
  13. I ended up getting the i5 11600kf instead of the i7 11700k because it was only 0.1 GHZ lower in turbo clock speed and DCS wouldn't use the extra 2 cores anyway and there was a £70 ($100) price difference for an imperceptible performance gain.
  14. Yeah I was going to say a Studio Form type headstrap place near the front really helps to stop the HMD slipping down and helps with comfort. https://www.studioformcreative.com/product-page/go-quest-deluxe-strap-black -only $16.95 I have a Quest 2 and use this strap and also use a counter weight and it is pretty comfortable. I might try a cheap halo strap later in the year but don't know how much more comfortable I need it.
