  1. Thanks for the heads up! II will have a weekend off and also the time after work so I will look around for other stores too. I'm considering buying on Internet but since the jynx pursues me, I think there's a high chance that the product is delayed and does not arrive while I'm there.
  2. Yes indeed! I just meant that was useful for me in the start but yes, I need to use the keyboard even for SU-25T and it's annoying. But my next step will be the X52 Pro. More than that and I feel that I will be overspending. I think it's good to slowly improve both my skills and setup overtime.
  3. Wow that was fast! I checked their website and they have it at the 3 stores in there. Thank you so much!
  4. I will be in LA someday in the next months and, as the title suggests, I would like to know if there's a store that sells the Saitek X52 Pro around. I tried to google for it, but did not find anything so far. So any ideas? Thanks in advance!
  5. Indeed I never heard of it until now that you recommended it, but you know FSX is no longer supported by it's developer and Tacpack looks to be a mod, and besides, who guarantees that third parties will support it? Now DCS... well DCS exists for the purpose of being a military sim already, it's just... waiting for this awesome model to be flied on.:pilotfly: And you know, I tried FSX in the past and I even bought Cliffs of Dover, and many others in the past, but the one I really loved is DCS, so I would like things developed for it and not move to another Sim again. But thanks for the tip, if this stuff were free or if it had a Demo I would try it for sure.
  6. Maybe you can name your server like "experienced players only"? Probably a noob will select other server instead of yours, it may help. But I totally agree that ED should have open servers for the community and put this information on Steam forums. I believe the materials for beginners are good already, they just need to be more divulged. (This is probably wrong spelled). And what's the problem to use an Xbox controller anyway? I completed every single player mission (not the campaign, I'm having a hard time completing it, which is good =]) for SU-25T with an xbox controller and keyboard, using the realism option and lately without labels. Game mode was never a option for me. Xbox controller analog sticks and buttons are very precise and possibly a better option than a cheap joystick (in my opinion). I am using it until I can buy my X52 anyway. EDIT: Suggestion sniped.
  7. Thanks for the feedback! I just can't understand why are you guys working on a military plane for FSX. I mean I do understand, there are people who wants it, but no weapons, no use for radars... just flying around? Must be a joy to fly it, landing on the carriers etc, but just feels an incomplete experience to me. Anyway, just saying. :)
  8. Nice! Looking forward to the F-14. My favorite plane since I was a kid (Maybe for obvious reasons)
  9. I was thinking that they left development for DCS since their sub-forum disappearead. But they posted this video like 3 hours ago, so why their sub-forum got deleted? This is weird.
  10. A-10A: DCS Flaming Cliffs is coming to Steam on 16 August 2013. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=111281
  11. Actually I don' t find them that bad. The real problem is that I often had to pause the video to take notes or to see some part again, and the audio plays and the video not. There was a time that it did even crashed the game. That was the one time that the game crashed. But of course, Psyrixx videos are high quality stuff, I learned a lot from them.
  12. Yes, along it's the same version it should work fine. Just tested and it works. Sometimes I get a bit stupid about little details.
  13. Thanks a lot for the information. But my question was a bit different. My friends enter the game via Steam DCS World... and in this version, the Flaming Cliffs 3 module does not show up at the left bottom of the menu. Now, If I own Flaming Cliffs 3, I will need to enter DCS World by the executable downloaded outside Steam. So my question is: If I join this version outside Steam, will my friends using the Steam DCS World version will be able to play with me? I am almost certain it's a yes but I was just curious. Sorry for the confusion.
  14. Wow... There are people who does that? :music_whistling:
  15. Oh thank you so much. I have been banging my head trying to understand which weapons do what.
  16. It's not available in my country and I am not going to risk my credit card in a proxy. But that's ok, I will wait for another sale, meanwhile I am having lots of fun with SU-25T.
  17. So it worked? Well I am total noob on DCS but I am going for the A-10C them.
  18. Sorry if this was already posted, but I couldn't find it. I have some friends that plays A-10C on Steam and I have been playing with them using the free SU-25t (Which is awesome btw). So I was thinking on buying Flamming Cliffs 3, which I understand that must be played in DCS Standalone. So if I create a server on DCS Standalone, will them be able to join my server using DCS from Steam (and vice versa)? Sorry for my bad english.
