  1. Sadly, when it is March 13th 11:59pm in Hawaii, USA, it is March 14th 5:59 pm Thursday in your home. I sooooo appreciate what you are feeling. All the BEST.
  2. Hi Hollywood_315 - Is there a checklist for initiating VAIcom from start , finishing with "Start Mission " ? If so, does this checklist, incorporating the various DCS airframe profiles, assume voice recognition has been completed ? For those that cannot speak, would a pre-packaged voice such as Astra and others be able to use the loaded profiles and activate the flaps , gear, bypassing the ATC F5 menu etc. ? Thanks !!
  3. stay with it, for someday one future player will be coming to you for this advice...
  4. Congratulations to all participants and especially to Stuge !!
  5. same here... I have both modules, but when I go to the tracks, I get a pause symbol flashing, upper right hand corner...
  6. Congratulations to the entire team of DCS on all your hard work and effort in delivering to us such a continually amazing Flight Simulation Platform. May you receive many more kudos for the countless hours of pleasure you have given us around the world flying within your universe. Again, thanks !!!
  7. Great work hegykc !! Subscribing to this thread to follow progress :-))
  8. In my instance, same problem, but corrected as soon as I removed the conflicting axis assignments found within the Logitech G13 column. Now when I start a mission airborne, I immediately have total control. Thanks to Yurgon for highlighting this issue.
  9. Archer7+ I bet you fly better with a keyboard then I am doing with my new joystick. I admire your learning this program from the keyboard up.
  10. I suppose we will never see the 27 heading "painted" on the far end of Mozdok's 08 runway reworked to match the 26 reading given in the charts... ?
  11. Hi Wedge, and thank you for your generous offer. I have Ka-50, and would indeed appreciate it . At the moment, I am trying to learn the A-10C , and trying to maximize my X52 ( non-pro ) joystick and G13 and minimize my need for the traditional keyboard. Again, thanks for your most generous offer, as I am sure you put in quite a few hours tweaking it as you saw fit.
  12. Thanks to each of you, these answers are very much appreciated !!
  13. This controller is listed and recognized within DCS, but when you want to add commands, it only recognizes 1 key out of the 25 possibles in each of the 3 modes. Must I use the Logitech software to use it? Thanks !!
  14. I had a similar problem... there are cockpit camera commands within the DCS command structure for - rise lower, center, down back and forward . This has helped me, binding them to the throttle / joystick. Hope this might prove to be an alternative for you.
  15. Thanks .. distance in nm from my position... Again, thanks ricktoberfest !!
  16. When the AI wing man advises of a contact, or a hit, the advisory usually ends with a number, such as for 3, for 2, for 7 etc. What does this number refer to? Usually the altitude is given within the advisory. Thanks ever so much !!
  17. Thanks for the feedback... I haven't had the results you have had, so I have got to check my setup again. It certainly indicates BTN 6 was added to the list of modifiers, and in the individual assignments , but something is keeping the shift from being enacted when engaged. Thanks again !!
  18. Additionally, in building this profile in control options, are the MFDs 1 and 2 able to have additional commands added to them ? Got a couple of Cougar MFDs with some unused buttons, and thinking of adding 2 more. Again, thanks... I appreciate the input and the ideas you have.
  19. When building a X52 profile in DCS A10c within Control Options, and creating the modifier BTN 6 (pinky) , does the profiler recognize the BTN 6 on its own, or does another step need to be taken ? Those commands I have entered needing me to use the pinky switch at the same time I employ the Hotas button press are not being recognized. Thanks for any and assistance!!
  20. Refrain from upgrading to Windows 8.1 if you have the Cougar MFDs. Since this USB - operated product doesn't constantly send a signal to the computer, Windows 8.1 treats it as "inactive" and its energy management handling causes the MFDs to blink constantly.
  21. Hawk Please - Good Luck to All, and Merry Christmas !!
  22. I was hoping the prices on the web site would be honored until they changed the web pages to match the e-shop. At least make it clearer at what time the sale officially ends as in what time of the day ( 00:01am 29 -Sept or 12:59 pm 29-Sept. ), and advise if it is Moscow Time so we can plan accordingly. My fault for waiting , time to burn some ice.
  23. Interested in purchasing both the Huey and the Mi-8. On one DCS screen, the price is given at 19.99, good to Sept 29. Not clear if that is until 12:59pm Sept 29, or only until 00:01 Sept 29. The e-shop has it listed as full price, and when checking out with the cart, listed at 49.99. Didn't want to proceed any further as wanted to avoid the process of a refund. Can someone with ED in Authority clarify this for me please? Thanks, IceBurner
