  1. Actually, that does make sense. I have been advised that there is a cheaper option available via Scan (££419). Subsequently, I edited the post to read accordingly.
  2. I had no idea about the modules. Anyway, all I did was go to Amazon and check the current prices as an approximation not that how much I wanted for it.
  3. I’ve been unable to spend any time on my PC because of a vision problem and it’s not going to improve. Subsequently, the best thing I can do is, sell my kit which consists of: TM Warthog HOTAS and stick (£419) Oculus Rift HMD (£549) Wheel Stand Pro for TM HOTAS x2 (£336) Logitech Pedals (£142) (prices listed are current, not what I’m asking) as the subscribers here are the most experienced with this sort of thing I wondered what you might think I could get for my kit? https://ibb.co/1v6hv0n https://ibb.co/YW53bbT https://ibb.co/cFZ7Nqm https://ibb.co/GRTf7St

  5. Agreed, I live in the hope that the HP Reverb will work well with DCS.
  6. ‘Mura Effect’ Supposedly, this ‘Mura effect’ really affects immersion which would be a major blow for DCS. Secondly, take anything HP U.K. or HP US sales says with a pinch of salt, the HP press rep Jim Christiansen says the May 6th launch is worldwide; however, it being 16:00 GMT and the fact no-one has the HMD on sale or even for pre-order fills me with gloom.
  7. Have you or anyone else seen pre-order pages for the HP Reverb? edit. It seems the Microsoft Store is the go to place for Windows MR hmd’s; however, it seems Samsung has not released the Odyssey Plus in the U.K. / EU yet.
  8. Apologies, I should have been more clear, I was referring to SteamVR, and as a Rift Home fan being bound to SteamVR software was a potential issue for me. Agreed, 7 is for DK1 Cv1 is 13-14 and the HP Reverb 25. Ps. Thanks for the heads up re. Touch controllers and HOTAS.
  9. However, I believe this will mean running DCS through Steam. Regarding Pixel Density, the HP Reverb displays 25 pixels per degree, to give you some idea, the HTC Vive Pro produces 14 and the Rift 7. https://www.cnet.com/news/hp-reverb-gives-microsoft-vr-a-high-res-boost/ Quick question, when you use your Touch Controllers in the cockpit how do you control pitch, roll, trim, dcms etc? Normally, you’d use a HOTAS stick so how do you handle it now?
  10. I'm sure you already know but you don't need to visually check your wings sweep position, just check the Wing Sweep Indicator to the right of the Master Arm Switch
  11. Agreed, no fix as of today.
  12. Anyone else suffering mapping problems in the F14? I have no problem in any of the other modules but the F14 is giving me issues. The module loses mapping profile settings, reverts to default and so on. I’m thinking of a config reset to just default but when I followed the advice on how to default my control config everything disappeared from the ‘control’ option page just leaving an empty section. Following instructions available in another thread I deleted everything in the C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Config\Input\Aircrafts folder except the default folder....
  13. How did you resolve the problem? For me, even ‘instant action’ in a hot seat will not let me bind Wing Sweep keys to my TM Warthog HOTAS. I’ve tried everything, I cannot set Forward/AFT/AUTO/BOMB at all. HeatBlur kindly set the default mapping to the Warthog which is the throttle mic switch and they won’t work either. In reference to the MASTER RESET, must you engage it even in a hot cockpit?
  14. Whats your build version? Are you using Skatezilla's Updater utility? ps.......weeeeeeeeeeeee
  15. Yup, the F14 module has been released, the DCS client discovers the module and is now installing. (approx 48 peers @5MB/s dl / 2.5MB/s upload)
  16. For anyone who doesn’t have it yet, here’s the manual to keep you busy while we wait: http://www.heatblur.se/F-14Manual/ Check out the RIO section....:-)
  17. Luckily, I have never had a TM part go bad on me before, this is a first. Essentially, throttle coolie hat (left) has absolutely no response, with this in mind, is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance.
  18. Guys, is the joystick working? Amazing that all the rest are working and well implemented, as VR was to visual immersion Touch is to VR physical immersion.
  19. The tool tips which are such a useful tool in 2D become nothing but an utter and complete nuisance in VR, they seem to 'stick' in place and you cannot under any circumstances turn them off. This is a major flaw to the current build. thanks in advance TB
  20. Hey Gonvise. Please just lean forward a few inches and hit the VR View Reset button, I recommend you have the key mapped to your HOTAS, mine is mapped to the Landing Gear Horn Silence Button. The reason you should map this key is that the DCS front menu always appears off kilter when you boot the sim as well as adjusting the cockpit view for each and every module, this allows you to quickly reset your view with no fuss. Regards,
  21. I'd be very interested in knowing where we stand in regards to that as well as the other bugs.
  22. Ouch http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2016/09/report-oculus-touch-controllers-cost-190-in-the-uk/
