  1. Some of the up and down is the tanker itself, just ride it out. Dont put any curves in the viper, they are not needed. follow the lights and you will be fine. after the first couple its easy.
  2. The problem is they are rushing products out to keep the cash flow up. EA acft are getting just enough attention to keep people in them while they work on the next project. The hornet is a sloppy hot mess and the viper is the neglected step child, meanwhile here comes the super carrier which is missing how many promised features now? Finish one project then move on, at this point i am all for a monthly subscription fee if it means they actually finish something that they start. As for the current state of the Viper, its still an excellent platform all around but needs some of these problems to be addressed such as the IFF/DL, Tire grip etc. fix those and throw in some mavericks and a Harm and hell people would probably shut up for another year.
  3. ........ is what you should expect. Id consider it a small miracle if they added the maverick by years end.
  4. 16AGR is where you want to be. Find us on Discord or 16agr.com
  5. mine just did this and i am too lazy to fix the problem, again.... i like them but damn is it annoying.
  6. who uses a steering bar nowadays anyways? lateral guidance use the CDI, vertical use the command bar. if you have the correct course set in the HSI there is no need to worry about the lateral bank bar. yall arguing about things irrelevant. that being said this is my take on the command bars. disclaimer i have a strictly glass cockpit background G1000 or Avidyne I think the command bars are tied into the HSI specifically the course select knob when in ILS mode. It makes sense to tie them together to ensure you are on the right ILS for the correct course for the runway. say the localizer is offset 5 deg per ICAO, you may or may not be in line with the runway center line. Tie them into the selected course which is set for every approach and you no longer have to worry about that you have full precision off the command bars alone (quicker scan). if it were not tied it would bring you smack down the middle of wherever the localizer center line happens to be which may or may not be the runway center line. Again though the bank bar can be seen as irrelevant since you have a CDI; really thats all you need to fly the NP localizer. you only need the vertical bar for the precision of the ILS i.e. lateral and vertical guidance.
  7. I am having a couple of issues with the AG weapons: First with the bombs, with the mk82s, selected CCIP, using the UFC set Qty and Mult to 1 and if i have three racks with two bombs each rack will release one bomb for a total of three. i cannot change the multi to anything other than 1 or *1. With rockets i can not launch them in singles, its either all or nothing. EDIT watched the video i get it. are these issues normal or am i doing something wrong?
  8. Yeah i ended up changing the coalition lua which is fine but having to swap it out for other peoples MP maps gets old. it should be a 2 min fix for ED and to include it in the next update.
  9. so i am trying to build a mission and the late activation feature is not working at all. i have tried every way i can think of to get it tow work but no luck. any thoughts?
  10. Now that the Gulf map is out could you add the F-14A to the list of Iranian aircraft?
  11. Im guessing the drag is minimal even more so when compared to all the hard points with stores hanging off. Probably just testing them for the E model anyways or they really need the extra ~11,000 lbs of fuel.
  12. Thank you, also as a note for whatever reason if i go to my C drive i can see all my DCS folders etc and this wouldn't work from those locations. I had to navigate to program files\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\bin and followed your instructions and FINALLY it is working.
  13. wind direction is always where it is coming from. the ATC just takes what it is set at and reads it back.
  14. Love ForeFlight, greatest app ever.
  15. Same as normal. Hotpit just means less turnaround time due to shut down and restart etc. Fueling is pretty constant across the board since all pumping systems in the USAF are designed to regulate flow rates not to exceed 600gpm per nozzle.
