  1. @Hobel,@AegisFX,@rob10 Thanks you for taking the time to respond. I THINK, I have it figured out now...well, it's working at least. I checked the AZ/LE page and that helped me immensely in making sure the target was in cone. I rechecked my keybinds and axis tunes. rebound the TDC depress to my HOTAS, and boned up on the FA-18 Link 16. Biggest change I made to my "testing" scenario was to start in the air instead of from parking hot (for a shorter trk file). Voila! I can now detect and track in all modes. Will do more ground testing and see if that may be glitched somehow. But, for the moment Thanks again for taking a look at this. -Michael
  2. First of all, I uploaded it before I was finished (Fumble thumbs) I have added the relevant info since. Sorry!
  3. A/A mode on 2 bar/140 deg sweep, interleaved A/A weapon selected with appropriate HUD display Size/RCS appropriate TDC bound to TM HOTAS, WEAPONS to TM Warthog In RWS, the radar rarely detects much less acquires airborne targets. When it does (as it did ONCE during the tutorial) as soon as I slew to it to lock it up, the track disappears forever. I have had occasional luck in ACM but literally, I could be flying up the target butt and radar doesn't detect. Fox 3's worked in MADDOG, but no luck in BVR tracking. Fox 2's worked in ACM. At this point not sure where the problem is. RWS doesn't work in game, and the keybinds failed, as did the keyboard binds. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. The binds/radar work fine in FC-3 jets. Having intermittent radar issues with the Falcon. but able to work with it via DL
  4. And then, the bomb dropped on Saturday! Wasn't really that surprised
  5. Soooooo, nuclear proliferation finally comes to DCS. I guess I can hope we'll see some other assets for strategic balance (I think that's what they are calling MAD nowadays?)
  6. Thank you both for the information! Sad about Filehorst, but glad to see they are still up and going
  7. Here's hoping to see some more of the distinctive map objects, particularly those that improve Jerusalem from a poorly laid out farm community into the bustling center of three major religions. I don't care that they would be indestructible (I get that), but ya gotta fix the temple area. The warehouse on temple rock is...gross. Also Masada
  8. Thank you xo much. Beautifully rendered! We have truly needed and updated model fo this important class!
  9. Thanks again, sir! I've been playing with a lot of different assets tonight and have been finding that out. <blush>
  10. DCS's AI helicopter damage model is pretty bad... Thanks for the information. I was surprised the 25mm did not engage, but I am sitting down to do some more testing. Thanks again!
  11. Hey CH, possible issue with the LAV Shorad. Two targets VSN F80 at altitude, Core Mi-26 at NOE. LAV engaged both targets - but Mi26 took two Stingers in the face at close range with a brief trail of smoke. LAV continued to engage at VERY short range with Stinger, and never switched to the 25mm cannon. Re-ran it a few different times. On average it took three Stinger hits to bgring down the Mi26. One replay the Mi26 was hit by seven stingers and never crashed The 25mm cannon NEVER engaged. I've attached a couple of different .trk and a .miz file. Thanks for taking a look at it LAV Shorad.trk LAV Shorad2.trk LAV Shorad1.trk CA000 Caucasus Target Ranges Shorad.miz
  12. Just a quick note: Your work is fantastic! Thanks for all these great mods!!
