  1. Hi Hornet81, I made a list of triggers a few years back, and remember that the sliding doors could be tagged to flags, but subsequently I could never find a trigger or code for the two pilot doors. I always assumed they were off-limits to any triggers and/or flags.
  2. I know it's been a few years, but would love to see this mission in v2.5! Loved the randomness of it being different any time you played it. Would it be possible to adapt this mission to the latest DCS version? Thanks.
  3. Ha!! What fun...:):thumbup: Took me a few times to get to the compound near the Enguri Dam... If nothing else, it was good practice in close-formation flying. One time engine quit due to overtemp; after auto in couldn't do much else than abort mission just sitting there in cockpit ;-) Finally made it in, got a bunch of instruments shot up, picked up pilot... On trip out to MASH, no nav radio to home in on the MASH at Tsatshvi... but some good 'ol dead reckoning with the kneeboard maps saved the day. After dropping off the rescued pilot... took off for FARP Hollywood again, landed there, did a repair, took off again and flew into the sunset back to the MASH at Tsatshvi with the NAV radio homing in on the beacon signal... Thanks, fun mission... Q: Flew mission #001:thumbup:, now #004:thumbup:... where can I find #002 & #003?   4. Nov. 11 - Just downloaded, and updated the 'Helipads' mod, and all are working fine now! All textures are in place and they look brilliant! Love the new layout of the tall Heli Towers, now that the lighted mast is gone; great job Upuaut!!:thumbup::thumbup: Q: would it be possible to have a windsock on each tall helipad, and on the Seafort, Leuchtturm and the various lighthouse (sea & Land) landing pads?
  5. Am missing my 'cargo view' in the Huey too... Was directed to this site... downloaded the .zip file, but then what? Where do I put the folder "UH-1H Enabled Keys and Buttons 2.5"? Can I use JSGME for this?
  6. Helipads working good now... extracted the "helipads" folder to the "saved games"-"dcs"-"mods"-"tech" folder. Cargo working and looking good too now. No more JSGME needed by the looks of it :thumbup: Hope that any future DCS updates don't mess with the file set-up anymore now that the folder is in the 'saved games' directory. Noticed some small issues: - Can't land on the tall heli tower; fall right through it. Can also fly right through the upper part of the structure. - The short heli tower (land) is missing parts of it's skin (see attached pic) - The tall heli tower light on the top looks very odd (square) (see attached pic). - Is it possible to start a mission (spawn) from the leuchturm island (see pic), or the oil rig, or the heli towers? If so, how does one do that? Every time I try it, the Huey just explodes at starting the mission, and the mission stalls... It doesn't crash... just the heli is gone, and I'll have to exit to Mission Editor screen, or the DCS main screen again. - Would it be possible to have a wind sock on the heli towers? Appreciate very much the hard work that went into making these structures!! I use them on a constant basis when I can!:thumbup::thumbup:
  7. Great work 'Eight Ball':thumbup:! I'll check it out when I get to my PC again!! Would love to see this great Mod pack of these helipads and cargo one day become an integral part of DCS, so that it it's automatically part of any future updates of the program.
  8. Well, did get the helipads and cargo working... somehow, somewhat, though with some "issues... First of all, for some reasons I need to run 2 (two) JSGME Mod Enablers; - one in the root directory of the User/Saved Gamer/Mods, and the - other in the C/Eagle Dynamics/DCS root directory. The 'User' JSGME loads the above mentioned file by 'EightBall' ( Download ("complete_upuaut_mods") DCS 2.5). The second C drive DCS root directory JSGME runs "Helipads - Cargo - Racegates - Hospital". Somehow together these two make up the Helipads Mod. If I de-activate either one of the JSGEM helipads mod, I'm missing ALL the Mod's stuctures in the Mission Editor. Problem now is that the tall HeliPads structures are "unland-able".... I can't land on them, but sink right through the landing pad. The small heli pad towers are ok to land on (lighthouse w/ helipad [sea & land]) Also, there are some other Mod structures with missing texture; like the 'antenna' and the 'leuchturm'. Tried to work with the 'Helipads.rar' file from page 1, but am unable to open the Helipads.rar' file (107mb) with 7-zip, as it says that it cannot open it as archive file. Q: is the oil rig changed from previous versions? There used to be quite an elaborate oil rig, but this one seems smaller and with less equipment on it than the previous one I've seen for v1.5. This oil rig I can land on, but it's acting like a ship, with the Huey sliding back and forth, as if on a rolling ship. Is that normal? Note; DCS built is 2.5.2.20601 Sorry for all the hassle, but I'm quite confused at this point now to make this actually work.

  10. Thanks Sanatog, I'll try that solution. After DCS 'repair' the heliports disappeared again... until I put the 'Cargo & helipads' mod into the newly created DCS (JSGME) JMODS in the DCS root directory. Now the helipads show up again, except with missing textures... again... quite frustrating. I'll check your / 'Oradan1974' solution and hopefully that will work!
  11. Thanks Shagrat for the pointer.... Placed JSGME.exe file & Mod folder as you mentioned in the 'C drive Users' folder structure... Can see a heli pad now, but the skin is missing... but can't see the oil rig... ;-( Trying to install ALL Upuat's mods at the same time doesn't work, 'cause certain files were pre-loaded by another mod already... am wondering if that's possible at all... Update re. 'missing-texture' above: Helipads working now, with proper 'skin'... Instead of using the "Helipads_Only 2.5" mod, used "Cargo + Helipads + external fuel-tank for the UH-1 + Hospital + Seafort + Red Sands + Racegates" instead. That solved the problem with the missing textures... However, issue of No Oil-rig available still stands, unfortunately ;-( or for that matter, can't install the "Fires" mod, 'cause it's being blocked by the Oil Rig Mod...
  12. Does it still need JSGME (in the root directory of DCS \ Mods) to install this (v2.5)? Or do the directories need to be installed somewhere else altogether? Was working for me in 2.0, but can't get it to work either in v2.5.

  14. Thanks, I'll try that... hope in the near future they could resolve this issue. Sure is tricky now to see how far load is off the ground when coming in for a drop-off.
  15. Can't bind 'cargo view' in the Huey to a cyclic or collective button either, as the fields for these are "greyed-out". Is there a way to assign a button for this view, instead of a key combination?
