  1. Thanks! So let's say that my aircraft is locked up on a tank with my laser selector in code 1 - would that mean my wingman should have code 2 or 3 selected to fire a Vikhr on the target I'm lasing and locked on?
  2. I've noticed that there are three laser codes selectable on the Targeting Display Control panel. Can anyone explain their use to me? Is it actually possible for two aircraft's lasers to interfere with each other when in close proximity? Thanks in advance, Gunny
  3. GGTharos - I did D/L the manual several weeks ago and printed it, when I purchased the sim - and I may be old and confused but I can't find information in it on: UPK-23 rates of fire ammunition type, utility... KMGU FAB 250/500 fusing - is there a preset fuse delay, controllable fuse delay or does it detonate on impact? I've examined the section in 7-29 but can't find any more amplifying data. B8 S-13 I see the information on these systems at the back of the manual in loadout discussions and mission configuration - UPK-23 is addressed once under ballistics settings. Koriel - I'm just trying to get a little use out of the Russian version I purchased when it was made available - I fully intend to buy the English version with DVD when it's available over here - it just seems a bit wasteful to buy the sim three times within a few months. At this point, I'm not even sure that the Encyclopedia contains the information I'm seeking. Thanks Gunny
  4. S~ and hello, I'm having some difficulty finding a list of Black Shark Weapons parameters - i.e. launch considerations, min/max altitude limitations, etc.. I own the Russian version of the sim and am wondering if this information is found in the encylopedia (which is in Russian) OR if these are standard weapons contained in LO-FC which most sim pilots are already aware of. Is there a forum post somewhere, or other reference which might help me - or do I simply have to buy another copy of BS in order to get adequete weapons docs? Thanks in advance, S~ Gunny
  5. This is the most incredible PC based simulation I've ever experienced in so many ways. From the flight model, to the environment - the combat systems - nav systems - comm systems. As a developer, researcher, analyst and teacher for military training, simulation and engineering programs for several decades, I'm quite astounded at this software package. My squadmates and I at TX-Squadron have been flying BS since Thanksgiving, non-stop - finding new things every day. www.txsquadron.com S~ and Bravo Zulu, Gunny
