  1. One thing I'm not really clear... Was the new damage model implemented today? Cheers
  2. Finally ED can manage to recreate an engine sound that gets close to the real thing! Let's hope that they manage to do the same to the already released warbirds...
  3. I raised this question some time ago, and some of the ED guys didn't treat this as being a first priority. So my guess is that this aircraft won't be much different.... I love this game, but when i'm in the mood to fly WWII aircrafts, I just go somewhere else... The lack of small details like this are keeping me away from buying any more WWII content in DCS
  4. Looks like I'll give my joystick a pretty long rest.... I'm affraid that all this means that we won't see the F-18 this year too...
  5. Isn't it normal for an interceptor? Air superiority fighters are the ones that are suposed to have a higher fuel autonomy.
  6. Dude, the video in the link I posted before is criticizing the ones who criticize the FM, and I clearly say that I think the same way (i also criticized the ones who criticized the FM)... Please, next time read the full conversation before making any statement, because as I explained, I also think this airplane is awesome! :)
  7. Don't know if it was for me.... but if it was, go back and read comment #212...
  8. Of course that there is a huge difference between being a pilot and a programmer... But if you were a fighter pilot and responsible for the flight model of a module of the aircraft you fly or flew, would you approve an unacurate flight model?? If it was me and I saw something was wrong with the FM, it would have to be changed... Even if not right away..
  9. If a mig pilot is involved, maybe he is the ideal person to deliver an acurate FM. If changes are made to the FM, maybe someone said something is wrong. And by making changes to some parameters, maybe other parameters get unexpectedly affected... I face this as an ever evolving process It was another victim of one of my video streaks... I laughed alot with the description. Channel subbed
  10. At least someone thinks the same way as I do about the new FM...
  11. I presume you're talking about OGMA, right?
  12. Yep, only a few parts are produced in Portugal, but there was alot more involvement in terms of development from portuguese universities and engineering companies... http://www.jornaldenegocios.pt/empresas/industria/detalhe/kc_390_maior_projecto_aeronautico_portugues_e_apresentado_hoje.html Anyway, can't wait to see it flying here in Portugal... Assuming that Portugal actually acquires any of them.... Cheers
  13. Nice! Where was it? Part of it is made in Portugal! Cheers
