  1. still around... Hate to bring this up, but it's been over two years since the last post and LOD zoom bug still exist at least in training missions... DCS version 2.5.4.25729 Sure it's not a game breaking bug, or a very important one anyways, but surely it should be easy to fix? Same mission, zoom level one step difference (Screenshots from Training> ILS landing mission)
  2. Free Weekend going on for F/A-18, Su-33 and Persian Gulf...
  3. Yes, moving on steady course. Does it move during a turn if you put chocks on?
  4. Just use "1 Monitor" preset for Hornet for now. Read the other thread link above for possible fix for other planes.
  5. Are you running a multimonitor setup? If yes, disable it and go back to "1 monitor" setup in graphics options. Exporting ddi/mcfd isn't working yet for Hornet. See https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=210113 for further details.
  6. Probably a dumb question but where do you see the trim setting that's currently active? FCS page?
  7. I stand corrected, remembered it slightly wrong.
  8. afaik it happens if you've done an emergency jettison prior to rearming on carrier... newly loaded stores still think they should drop. probably connected to stores not being able to drop after hot rearm. (SMS reset bug)
  9. Worked fine yesterday with wheel chocks places and engines running, canopy open. Landed, taxied to parking, rearmed and refueled and taxied back to cat and took off. SMS won't update/reset on rearm though but that's another story.
  10. She also flies quite nicely without wingtips/ailerons or wingtips folded at the moment... Took off and did a pattern and landed safely in both configurations.
  11. Not sure if it has anything to do with your situation but if Launch bar is down only NWS will work when it's held down and NWS HI doesn't work at all. Launch bar up NWS activates by key press and NWS HI on holding button as normal.
  12. Assign OFF/IDLE to the detent "jump", it registers as a button press.
  13. same, LEX vapours appear normally but no wingtip vortices.
  14. Same, tried instant actions and self made ones for couple hours yesterday, 0h00mins...
  15. Was just about to post this myself as in A-10 they go along with the hardware numbering from top left and numbers go clockwise thru OSB1-OSB20 but on Hornet (and Harrier too btw!) numbering starts from bottom left (PB1, which would have been button 16) so the hardware button numbering is off, everything works even with 3 MFDs, just need to consider left bottom as number 1.
  16. OFF/IDLE works on TM Warthog throttle but indeed it's kinda backwards. Need to push the throttle over the idle detent first and then again to "flip the switch"
  17. Did some more testing and it does seen to be visible only on dawn/dusk and from high altitude OR zoomed out view when there's even a little amount of fog present Early Dusk normal cockpit view Dawn Normal view https://i.imgur.com/Q04ovPF.jpg Zoomed out https://i.imgur.com/HmogrJz.jpg External zoomed out at high alt https://i.imgur.com/9ksWWgr.jpg External default view at high alt https://i.imgur.com/iqzPbzN.jpg
  18. After bit more testing it seems to happen with low altitude fog present regardless of time of the day and in some cases on rough seas. Not so visible in daylight but dawn/dusk emphasizes the effect. Also looking at my original screenshot it looks like the same blur effect that happens with depth of field on in external view, but in this case seen from inside cockpit... Also I haven't seen this in Nevada even in foggy conditions (altough there isn't ocean surfaces either)
  19. Just tried Normandy for the first time in 2.2 and while playing around with Fog settings I noticed that at least in the evening time fog over sea makes the "3d grid" visible. It doesn't happen during the day and without fog. Maybe someone else can confirm this so it's just not my settings or PC? All settings on High in NVIDIA Control panel and DCS (DoF Off), Specs as seen in signature below.
  20. Are those new clouds already or is it just the new lighting making wonders? Looks different to me...
  21. Well I'm sorry as It was answered already (in armament thread apparently) as this was about "country specific details" and it just came to mind as A-10C has it so it would be basicly just a matter of checking which one of the pods you have on board and have appropriate functions according to loadout, however I do understand it would probably require lots of coding to be able to have loadout reliant TGP... Also didn't have time to go through over all 3200 replies on the chitchat yet, so I might not be up to date on everything.
  22. Ahh the Swiss too of course ;) Apparently Australians (and Malaysian D-models) are the only export country missing it but they have only A/B and E/F afaik. Regarding Lot 20 and ATFLIR I guess that rules out also the use of Litening TGP used in Finnish, Spanish, Australian and USMC Hornets?
  23. Are there any plans for including country specific details such as ID searchlight on Finnish, Kuwaiti and Canadian Hornets?
