Checked the IPD with 3 different apps. Results are between 63.5 - 64.5. So I set the IPD to 64. I also check the IPD setting before each session.

A question for Quest 3 users: I had a Rift, Rift S and Reverb G2 before the Quest 3. I was able to use all of them without any problems or restrictions. However, when I use the Quest 3, I often have problems with my eyes afterwards, so they feel tired and sluggish. Focussing is more strenuous. I use the goggles with Kiwi Comfort Strap and AMVR Facial Interface, as I found the original head strap absolutely awful. I measured the IPD with 2 apps on my mobile phone and adjusted it accordingly. Does anyone have any idea what is different about the Quest 3 in this respect? And what can you do about it? At the moment I only do short 30-minute trips. But that's not ideal.

Mal ne Frage an die Quest 3 Nutzer: Ich hatte vor der Quest 3 eine Rift, Rift S und Reverb G2. Alle konnte ich ohne Probleme und Einschränkungen nutzen. Wenn ich aber die Quest 3 nutze, habe ich danach häufig Probleme mit den Augen, also fühlen sich müde und träge an. Fokussieren ist anstrengender. Ich nutze die Brille mit Kiwi Comfort Strap und AMVR Facial Interface, da ich den original Head Strap absolut schrecklich fand. IPD hab ich mit 2 Apps am Handy gemessen und entsprechend eingestellt. Hat jmd. ne Idee was an der Quest 3 diesbzgl. anders ist? Und was man dagegen machen kann? Momentan mache ich eher nur kurze Trips a 30min. Aber optimal ist das halt nicht.

Ich hab es gerade mal getestet mit den Standardwerten. Setup ist folgendes: I7 9700K 32 GB RAM RTX 4070 Quest 3 über Virtual Desktop (AV-10 Codec mit 130 Mbps) Bei der F-16 Freeflight Mission im Caucasus bekomme ich +/- 72 Frames hin. Wobei lt. Frame Counter von DCS der limitierende Faktor ständig wechselt zwischen GPU und CPU. Mit Quad View und seinen Standardsettings sind es ca. 10 Frames weniger bei schlechterer Qualität und die CPU ist der limitierende Faktor (genau wie du sagst und wie ich es erwartet habe. Wollte es aber mal austesten). Ingame Settings und Einstellungen von VD blieben unverändert.

Ich kram den Thread mal wieder aus.... Gibts eigentlich einen (Performance-)Benefit gegenüber OpenXR Toolkit FOV Rendering?

...deswegen heißt es ja auch "Beyond". Für mich sind das die Themen, die 2024 beackert werden. Heißt nicht, dass sie auch in dem Jahr rauskommen. Und was das Liefern seitens ED betrifft, will ich mich nicht beschweren.

As some mentioned, this indicates that the aircraft has moved during alignment. If someone struggles finding the issue, check your axis assignments for pilot and WSO. In my case I forgot to invert the thrust axis for the WSO, so I ran into this issue the moment I switched from pilot to WSO to engage TEWS and TGP to STBY. The fact, that you cannot hear the engine (thanks ECS :-))and that the wheel chocks were in place, prevented me from recognizing I am on MIL power for a short time.

Habe hier noch einen Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle liegen. Ist ein paar Jahre alt, aber funktioniert einwandfrei. Ich verkaufe ihn wegen Umstieg auf Virpil. Ich habe einen modifizierten AB Detent drin, so dass man die AB Stufe spürt, aber der Schubhebel nicht angehoben werden muss. Zustand siehe Fotos. Preisvorstellung ist um die 100€
